Craig closed Friday's 119-81 loss to the Knicks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with three points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt), one rebound and three assists across nine minutes. Craig made his fifth appearance of the postseason Friday with the Celtics getting blown out of the contest. Craig ended up appearing in 26 regular-season games for Boston, posting 4.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in 12.1 minutes per contest. Craig, who will be entering his age-35 season in 2025-26, is set to hit free agency this offseason.

Craig will come off the bench during Sunday's Eastern Conference quarterfinal-round Game 1 matchup against the Magic, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports. Craig started two of the last three regular-season games for Boston, but he didn't make much of an impact during that span, failing to score in those two starts. The 33-year-old veteran will be in the second unit for Game 1 against Orlando.

Craig will make his second start in three games due to Boston resting its top rotational players. In his last start against the Magic on Wednesday, he finished with zero points, seven rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 28 minutes.

Craig is not in the Celtics' starting lineup against the Hornets on Friday. Craig made his second start for the Celtics on Wednesday against the Magic but didn't manage to score in a 96-76 loss. He'll revert to a reserve role Friday while Jayson Tatum and Al Horford re-enter the starting five.

The Celtics are resting all of their regular starters, which will allow several non-regulars to see action in this contest. Craig has averaged 10.5 minutes per game off the bench in 10 appearances since the beginning of March.
