  • Brown finished with 14 points (3-15 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, four assists and one steal across 27 minutes in Thursday's 100-83 Summer League loss to Houston. Brown recorded his lowest-scoring total in three Las Vegas Summer League appearances. He also shot less than 50.0 percent from the field and 40.0 percent from deep for the first time during that stretch. Still, it's been a mostly positive summer for the 20-year-old rookie. Although Brown is expected to have his share of struggles during his inaugural campaign, he should still receive more than enough opportunities to produce right away.

  • Brown (rest) logged 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block over 19 minutes in Tuesday's 115-83 Summer League win over the Kings. Brown was held out of Saturday's game against the Hawks due to rest purposes but was back in action Tuesday, when he finished second on the Nets in assists and as the team's third-leading scorer behind Egor Demin (22 points) and Drake Powell (18 points). Brown was the sixth-overall pick of the 2026 NBA Draft, but his playing time could be inconsistent in his rookie season given the number of young guards on the Nets' roster such as Demin, Powell, Ben Saraf and Nolan Traore, as well as fifth-year pro Keon Ellis.

  • Brown (rest) won't play in Saturday's Summer League game against Atlanta, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports. Brown impressed with a 20-point performance in his Las Vegas Summer League debut Friday, though he'll sit out the second half of the back-to-back set. The rookie's next chance to suit up will come Tuesday against Sacramento.

  • Brown recorded 20 points (6-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound, three assists, two steals and one block over 22 minutes during Friday's 91-65 Las Vegas Summer League win over the Knicks. Brown was locked in on both ends, getting whatever he wanted offensively while wreaking havoc on defense. He likely would have posted an even bigger stat line, but with the Nets comfortably ahead, he spent most of the fourth quarter on the bench.

  • Brown (undisclosed) is expected to play in Monday's California Classic Summer League game against Warriors Blue, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. It's unknown why Brown won't see action in Brooklyn's first two California Classic Summer League contests, though it appears he is set to play Monday. The 2026 No. 6 overall pick appeared in 21 games for Louisville during the 2025-26 campaign, averaging 18.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 0.1 blocks and 1.2 steals across 29.2 minutes per showing. Brown is in line for a prominent role with the Nets right out of the gate regardless of his spot on the depth chart.
