Washington chipped in 25 points (10-20 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-7 FT), 13 rebounds and one block over 39 minutes during Monday's 140-133 overtime loss to Utah. It was Washington's third double-double of the season, but his first since Nov. 5 as he's dealt with a couple of nagging injuries over the last month-plus. The 13 boards were also a season high for the 27-year-old forward, and he's drained at least one three-pointer in 10 straight contests dating back to Nov. 18, a stretch in which he's averaging 18.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.2 threes, 1.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.2 blocks.

Washington (ankle) registered 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt), seven rebounds, five steals, one assist and one block across 36 minutes in Saturday's 122-109 win over the Rockets. The 9-16 Mavericks turned in one of their best games of the season while cruising to a win over the 15-6 Rockets, and Washington's performance on the defensive end was instrumental in the upset victory. Back in action after missing the previous four games due to a right ankle sprain, Washington faced no restrictions with his minutes and ended up establishing a new season high in steals. Washington was at his more natural power forward spot Saturday while Anthony Davis shifted over to center, but Washington could end up seeing more playing time on the wing if Daniel Gafford (ankle) returns for Dallas' next game Friday versus the Nets.

Washington (ankle) is available for Saturday's game against the Rockets. After sitting out the past four games, Washington was able to shed his questionable tag for this contest. However, it's possible he could face some restrictions in his return to the rotation.

Washington (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Rockets. Washington has missed the past four games for the Mavericks, and he'll be a game-time call Saturday night with there not being a shootaround on the second leg of a back-to-back set. If he can get back out there, Naji Marshall will likely head back to the bench.

Washington (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Thunder, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports. Washington will miss a fourth straight game and can be considered questionable for the second half of Dallas' back-to-back set Saturday against the Rockets. However, Washington has been initially listed as questionable for each of the past three games, so that designation doesn't offer a ton of optimism. Naji Marshall figures to draw another start in Washington's absence against Oklahoma City.
