  • Sims is starting Thursday's game against the Raptors. Sims will draw his third start in five games after Kyle Kuzma (illness) was ruled out Thursday. Sims hasn't been able to capitalize on his previous two opportunities with the first unit, as he's been held to two points in each start despite logging 30 or more minutes.

  • Bucks' Jericho Sims: Coming off bench
    By RotoWire

Smis will come off the bench Thursday against Boston. Sims has been ineffective in his last two appearances, posting averages of 2.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 30.5 minutes per contest. For that reason, the Bucks will roll with a smaller lineup featuring Gary Trent in the first unit.

  • Sims ended with two points (1-1 FG), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 31 minutes during Saturday's 124-112 loss to the Pistons. Sims was a non-factor yet again despite starting for the second straight game. Head coach Doc Rivers seems to favor Sims as the replacement for Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee). Nonetheless, it doesn't seem as though Sims is worth the attention of fantasy managers.

  • Sims will start against the 76ers on Friday. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) sidelined, Sims will get the starting nod for the second time this season. Over his last five appearances (one start), the 27-year-old big man has averaged 5.2 points and 6.4 rebounds across 19.8 minutes per contest.

  • Sims finished with 15 points (7-7 FG, 1-1 FT), 14 rebounds and one assist over 30 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 113-109 win over the Pistons. The 30 minutes were a season high for Sims, as he took on a much larger role than usual after Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) exited the game after just three minutes, and the fifth-year center responded by setting a new career scoring high and tying his personal best in boards. The double-double was his first of the season and first since 2022-23 with the Knicks, but Sims should see his workload increase at least a little for however long Giannis is missing from the Bucks' frontcourt.
