  • George ended Saturday's 129-103 loss to the Nuggets with 16 points (6-14 FG, 4-11 3Pt), two rebounds and eight assists in 32 minutes. George finished just two assists away from a double-double, but more importantly, he committed just two turnovers after losing the ball seven times in the 106-88 loss to the Spurs on Thursday. George has struggled with his shot in the opening stages of the season, and despite averaging 13.7 points with 6.5 assists per tilt, he's making just 30.3 percent of his field goals.

  • George recorded 15 points (5-14 FG, 1-9 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds and five assists in 30 minutes during Thursday's 106-88 loss to the Spurs. George has started every game this season, but his shooting has left a lot to be desired. He made matters worse during Thursday's game with seven turnovers. Putting Collin Sexton in the first unit on a more consistent basis could be a reasonable short-term solution for the Jazz, allowing George to work out the kinks with the second unit.

  • George posted 10 points (3-13 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and 11 assists in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 113-96 loss to the Kings. George delivered his first double-double of the season, but he also posted his worst scoring mark of the campaign, and the shooting woes are simply too glaring to ignore. Through four games, the second-year guard is shooting just 26.2 percent from the field and 22.6 percent from deep. That's not going to cut it, especially considering how much he has the ball in his hands. Fantasy managers should trust George to turn things around, but his lack of efficiency limits his upside.

  • George provided 17 points (6-18 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Monday's 110-102 loss to the Mavericks. George surpassed the 15-point mark for the first time this season, but there's no question the sophomore guard has been slumping to start the 2024-25 campaign. He's averaging 13.7 points, 5.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game through his first three appearances, and while those numbers are good enough to keep him rostered and starting in most formats, he needs to find a way to improve his shooting percentages. He's made only 27.1 percent of his shots overall and 23.8 percent of his threes to open the campaign.

  • George recorded 12 points (3-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-9 FT), two rebounds and seven assists across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 126-124 loss to the Grizzlies. George had a rough performance from a shooting perspective in this season opener. However, the second-year guard should have all the opportunities in the world to shake off the rust as the season progresses. George will remain the Jazz's starting point guard and should see enough minutes to be a consistent performer regularly for a rebuilding Utah team.
