Wembanyama amassed 30 points (8-16 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 10-11 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and 10 blocks over 30 minutes during Saturday's 114-94 victory over the Trail Blazers. Wembanyama became the sixth player in NBA history -- and the youngest -- to record at least 30 points and 10 blocks in a game as the Spurs routed the Blazers. The star big man is going through his most productive stretch of the season, as he was coming off a 42-point effort in the overtime win over the Hawks on Thursday. Over that five-game stretch, Wembanyama is averaging a monster stat line of 29.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 5.2 blocks per contest.

The 42 points were the most for Wembanyama since he buried the Wizards with a 50-point eruption Nov. 13. The second-year phenom has been dealing with a sore back in December that cost him two games earlier in the month, but he's been on fire since returning to the court, averaging 28.8 points, 8.8 boards, 4.5 assists, 4.0 blocks, 3.3 threes and 0.8 steals over his last four appearances.

The second-year phenom sealed the win by sinking a pair of free throws with just 2.1 seconds left on the clock, breaking a 116-116 tie. Wembanyama is playing through some nagging injuries right now, and while it didn't affect his offensive output, he did fail to record double-digit rebounds for the first time since Nov. 26. On the season, Wembanyama's averaging 23.8 points, 10.2 boards, 3.8 assists, 3.3 blocks, 3.1 threes and 1.2 steals.

Wembanyama notched 25 points (9-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 26 minutes during Sunday's 121-116 win over the Pelicans. Wembanyama entered the game with an injury tag, and the back ailment flared back up in his return, forcing him to leave the game early in the first quarter. He returned to the floor in the second quarter and turned San Antonio's slight deficit into a massive lead by halftime. The Spurs will enjoy a significant break this week, which will give Wembanyama plenty of time to rest his back.
