Dosunmu is not in the Bulls' starting lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta. Dosunmu has started in each of the Bulls' last three games, which has coincided with Zach LaVine's absence due to a thigh injury. With LaVine returning for Saturday's game, Dosunmu will return to the bench. Across his three starts, Dosunmu averaged 14.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists over 31.0 minutes per game.

Dosunmu accumulated six points (2-13 FG, 2-10 3Pt), five rebounds and four assists in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 119-99 loss to the Mavericks. Dosunmu made his second straight start Wednesday with Zach LaVine (thigh) sidelined. After pouring in 25 points in his previous outing, the 24-year-old guard struggled mightily with his outside shot against Dallas. Dosunmu is shooting just 38.5 percent from the field and 17.5 percent from three across eight appearances this season.

Dosunmu provided 25 points (9-13 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one block in 35 minutes during Monday's 135-126 loss to the Jazz. Dosunmu slid into the starting five Monday due to the absence of Zach LaVine (hip), and he certainly didn't disappoint. His night was highlighted by a season-best 25 points while draining 69.2 percent of his tries from the field, finishing second on the team in scoring behind Coby White's 28-point performance. It would seem to be an easy decision for Chicago to give Dosunmu another opportunity to start Wednesday in Dallas if LaVine is unable to go.

However, Chicago's deep cast of ballhandlers is at full strength to start the campaign. Josh Giddey, Coby White and Zach LaVine are all in the starting lineup Wednesday.
