Okongwu posted six points (3-12 FG, 0-5 3Pt), 10 rebounds, one assist and one block over 28 minutes during Saturday's 121-99 loss to the Pelicans. Okongwu didn't have a great shooting night, especially from beyond the arc. However, he was active on the boards, with five of his 10 rebounds coming on the offensive side of the floor. He's recorded at least nine rebounds in three of his last four outings, and he'll finish the month of October having averaged 11.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.1 threes and 0.7 blocks over 28.3 minutes per game.

Okongwu led the charge in the scoring column for Atlanta, and his performance was good enough for his best showing of the young season. Okongwu notched 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals across 29 minutes during Monday's 120-110 loss to Houston. Okongwu finally showed signs of life after a disappointing start to the season, providing fantasy managers with a sense of relief. Through four games, Okongwu has averaged 9.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 combined steals and blocks in 26.5 minutes per contest. Monday's game saw him record season-high marks in points, rebounds, steals and blocks. He will look to continue his turnaround when Atlanta hosts Miami on Wednesday.

Okongwu contributed eight points (3-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and seven assists in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 132-125 win over Orlando. Okongwu struggled with his perimeter shot but made up for his modest scoring output by leading Atlanta in assists. The starting center's playmaking was encouraging, though he failed to record a defensive statistic. His ability to contribute across multiple categories should keep him valuable despite occasional scoring fluctuations.
