Jones recorded one rebound over six minutes during Monday's 144-107 win over the Jazz. The 23-year-old saw the floor for the fifth consecutive outing in the blowout victory, during which he has averaged 1.8 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.8 steals across 8.8 minutes per game. Jones will likely continue to see minimal playing time buried behind Ivica Zubac, Nicolas Batum and Mo Bamba.

Jones finished Monday's 113-104 win over the Spurs with one block over four minutes. Jones was a non-factor in Monday's win, though he did pick up a block for the fourth consecutive game. The 23-year-old has played a small role off the bench while seeing double-digit minutes in four-regular season games. Jones has averaged 2.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.9 blocks while shooting 63.6 percent from the field across 8.9 minutes per game in seven regular-season appearances.

The Clippers converted Jones' Exhibit 10 contract to a two-way deal Saturday, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports. Jones secured the Clippers' third and final two-way slot after averaging 8.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.4 blocks, 1.4 assists and 1.4 steals in 24.2 minutes over his five preseason appearances. The 23-year-old projects to open the season as the Clippers' third-string center behind Ivica Zubac and Mo Bamba (knee), and Jones could end up heading to the G League if minutes are hard to come by.

Jones posted 13 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 FT), five rebounds and a blocked shot across 22 minutes in Tuesday's 115-106 win over the Nets. Jones saw extended minutes from the bench once again during Mo Bamba's (knee) absence. Since Jones' contract isn't guaranteed, the Texas product needs to make the most of his opportunities as he jockeys for position behind Ivica Zubac on the depth chart. Right now, the spot is Bamba's to lose, but a prolonged absence will allow other players to make an impact.

Jones registered four points (2-3 FG, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal over 22 minutes during Saturday's 91-90 preseason loss to the Warriors. Jones and Kobe Brown were the only two players in Saturday's preseason opener to see over 20 minutes of playing time. Jones is competing for a backup role on the Clippers' regular-season roster behind starting center Ivica Zubac, and the former got an extended look Saturday due to Mo Bamba (knee) not playing. Jones didn't play in 2023-24 due to personal reasons and a hamstring strain late in the regular season. He played in 46 regular-season games in 2022 with the Hornets and averaged 3.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 0.7 blocks across 12.0 minutes per game.
