• Kings' Juan Toscano-Anderson: Returns to Sacramento

  The Kings signed Toscano-Anderson to a 10-day contract Tuesday, and he'll be available to play versus Detroit, Chris Biderman of The Sacramento Bee reports. Toscano-Anderson was waived by the Kings earlier this week but will return on a new contract. He's appeared in just eight contests this year, averaging 2.4 minutes per game.

  The Kings are expected to waive Toscano-Anderson on Sunday, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports. Toscano-Anderson signed a one-year deal with the Kings on Dec. 14, but Sacramento will cut him loose before his contract becomes fully guaranteed for the rest of the season. The 30-year-old forward saw limited playing time with Sacramento, appearing in just eight contests and averaging 2.4 minutes.

  Toscano-Anderson signed a one-year contract with the Kings on Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Toscano-Anderson began the season with the G League's Mexico City Capitanes, where he averaged 19.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 35.0 minutes per game over 11 appearances. He's made at least 52 appearances in the NBA in each of the past three seasons while playing for the Warriors, Jazz and Lakers, and he'll be available to provide depth on the wing with his new team.

Toscano-Anderson has just one start under his belt since Jan. 15, but he'll add another to that list Saturday with Kelly Olynyk (rest) joining the list of starters sitting out the game. Toscano-Anderson is averaging just 4.3 points, 2.9 boards and 1.4 assists over 20.1 minutes per game in his eight previous starts this season, so the move doesn't guarantee he will return significant fantasy value.
