Johnson racked up 43 points (16-27 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 11 rebounds, nine assists, one block and one steal over 39 minutes during Thursday's 133-126 loss to the Hornets. Johnson dominated across the board and fell one assist shy of a triple-double. He led the Hawks in points, rebounds and assists in his best scoring performance of the 2025-26 campaign thus far. Johnson seemed to benefit from the return of Trae Young, which is great news for fantasy managers as Young ramps back up to a full workload.

Johnson supplied 19 points (7-19 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 12 assists, 11 rebounds and two steals across 34 minutes in Friday's 142-115 loss to the Pistons. Johnson struggled with efficiency but still finished as Atlanta's second-leading scorer. The 23-year-old forward led the Hawks in assists and boards, matching the team-high mark in steals as well. Johnson already owns the franchise record for most triple-doubles in a single season and is now tied with Mookie Blaylock for the most total triple-doubles in franchise history. Johnson is the first Hawk to record three such outings in a row. He has logged four triple-doubles and two double-doubles over his last six outings.

Johnson totaled 30 points (10-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 12 rebounds, 12 assists and two steals across 39 minutes during Saturday's 131-116 victory over the Wizards. Johnson was at it again, recording his second straight triple-double and fourth of the season. He now surpasses Doc Rivers for the most triple-doubles in a single season in franchise history, a record that has stood since the 1987-88 season. Johnson continues to be the engine that powers the Hawks, averaging 23.4 points, 10.5 rebounds, 7.9 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.6 three-pointers through his first 22 regular-season games, which is good enough for top-10 value in standard fantasy leagues.

Johnson, who's officially listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Nuggets due to right calf tightness, was spotted getting shots up following the Hawks' morning shootaround, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports. Given the current state of calf injuries in the NBA, it wouldn't be surprising to see Atlanta exercise caution with its oft-injured forward, but Johnson appears to be trending in the right direction after missing Wednesday's loss to the Clippers, which was his third absence of the campaign. Over his last 11 appearances, Johnson has averaged 25.7 points, 11.2 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 1.7 steals in 37.0 minutes per game.

Johnson (calf) is questionable for Friday's game against the Nuggets, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. The calf issue forced Johnson to the sidelines Wednesday, which resulted in Mouhamed Gueye getting a spot start, and it'll be more of the same if Johnson is out again Friday night. Check back for another update closer to Friday's tip.
