    Carl Landry: Waived by 76ers

Carl Landry was waived Wednesday by the 76ers, Shams Charania of The Vertical reports. The move doesn't come as a surprise given the Sixers depth in the frontcourt and their focus on keeping a young nucleus moving forward. Brooklyn, Phoenix, Minnesota, Denver, Utah and Cleveland are the teams eligible to claim the power forward off waivers. He could potentially serve as a veteran frontcourt piece, but given his health and lack of production recently, Landry's days as a productive rotation player may be coming to a close.

76ers' Carl Landry: Ruled out Tuesday

Carl Landry (back) is listed as out for Tuesday's game against the Raptors. With Landry sitting out his third straight game and Joel Embiid (foot), Jahlil Okafor (knee), and Richaun Holmes (Achilles) joining him in street clothes, coach Brett Brown will have to lean a bit more heavily on Elton Brand and Robert Covington to assume minutes in the frontcourt behind starters Jerami Grant and Nerlens Noel. The Sixers will play their final game of the season Wednesday against the Bulls, and Landry's chances of playing in that contest don't appear promising.

76ers' Carl Landry: Out Friday night

Carl Landry has been ruled out of Friday's tilt with the Knicks due to soreness in his back, Jessica Camerato of CSNPhilly.com reports. The veteran big man will get the night off after he turned in one of his best performances of the season on Tuesday night. He led the team with 22 points (9-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT) alongside nine rebounds and two steals during just 26 minutes. Nerlens Noel will grab the start in his absence on Friday. His next chance to take the court will come on Saturday when the Philadelphia 76ers take on the Bucks.

76ers' Carl Landry: Scores game-high 22 points in Tuesday's win

Carl Landry scored a game-high 22 points (9-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT) with nine rebounds and two steals during just 26 minutes in Tuesday's 107-93 win against the Pelicans. It's been a while since the days when Landry was considered one of the better bench players in the league, but he's giving us a nice case of deja vu lately. Over the past five games, Landry is averaging 17.4 points and 6.8 rebounds in just 24 minutes per game. The Philadelphia 76ers aren't playing for much, but Landry has some motivation at the age of 32 to show he deserves another contract.

76ers' Carl Landry: Fills it up in 25 minutes during Sunday's start

Carl Landry scored 22 points (9-15 FG, 4-4 FT) and added eight rebounds, three assists, and one steal across 25 minutes during the Philadelphia 76ers' 117-105 loss to the Warriors on Sunday.Landry played pretty well while earning the start against the Warriors in place of an injured Nerlens Noel (knee). Noel's MRI on Saturday indicated a contusion, which will likely leave him questionable for Tuesday's bout with the Hornets. If Noel sits out, Landry would likely draw another start, and he is averaging 16 points (57.1 FG, 100.0 FT), 6.4 rebounds, and one assist to 0.6 turnovers in 22 minutes over the last five games.

76ers' Carl Landry: Tallies 12 points in spot start for Nerlens Noel

Carl Landry tallied 12 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and an assist over 16 minutes in Saturday's 108-105 loss to the Trail Blazers.Making a second straight start for the ailing Nerlens Noel (knee), Landry was solid while posting his third double-digit scoring effort in the last four games. He's often a solid source of scoring and rebounds off the bench as well, and was averaging 10.9 points and 5.1 rebounds across 18.8 minutes in March coming in to Saturday's contest.

76ers' Carl Landry: Scores season-high 26 points off bench Sunday

Carl Landry registered 26 points (10-18 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT) and eight rebounds in 25 minutes during the Philadelphia 76ers' 120-105 loss to the Celtics on Sunday.Landry has scored in double figures during five of the last eight games, and the 18 minutes per matchup he is seeing in March is more time than he received in any prior month this season. However, he also went scoreless in one of those last eight contests, and Landry is generally best reserved for use in deeper leagues.

76ers' Carl Landry: Scores 18 in Saturday's loss

Carl Landry scored 18 points (7-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding six rebounds and a steal in 25 minutes during Saturday's loss to the Pistons. With Jerami Grant and Robert Covington both dealing with concussions following Friday's game, there could be plenty of minutes available for Landry in the short term. Given the Sixers' lack of other scoring options, he could be worth considering for a spot on your DFS roster as long as Landry keeps drawing starts.

76ers' Carl Landry: Will start Saturday

Carl Landry will draw the start Saturday against the Pistons, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The Philadelphia 76ers are currently stretched very thin due to injuries meaning Landry should continue seeing a heavier workload than normal. He is coming off an outing in which he posted 16 points, eight rebounds, and one assist in 25 minutes of action. He is an interesting option in DFS formats.
