DeJuan Blair: Sets season-high scoring figure

DeJuan Blair finished Saturday's win over the Charge with 18 points (8-13 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three steals and two assists. The veteran big man put together that damage over the course of just 14 minutes. Blair has played with Austin for much of the season but has only participated in 19 games, averaging 7.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists in about 13 minutes per contest.

DeJuan Blair: Signs with Argentinian squad

DeJuan Blair has agreed to a contract with San Lorenzo de Almagra of Argentina.Blair hasn't played in the NBA since the 2015-16 campaign and has most recently played in China. It seems unlikely at this point that he'll make a leap back to the NBA, though is still only 28 years old.

DeJuan Blair: Inks deal with Chinese club

DeJuan Blair signed a contract Wednesday with the Jiangsu Tongxi Monkey Kings of the Chinese Basketball Association, international basketball writer David Pick reports.Blair will head overseas for the first time in his career following seven seasons in the NBA with the Spurs, Mavericks and Wizards. The 6-foot-7 power forward had largely been out of the Wizards' rotation the last two seasons and had been out of basketball since February, when he was traded to the Suns and subsequently waived without playing a game for the team. A strong season with Jiangsu could perhaps put Blair on the radar for a contract with an NBA team when the CBA season concludes in the spring, but Blair likely wouldn't have more than a minimal role off the bench if he were to return to the NBA.

Suns' DeJuan Blair: Set to be waived

DeJuan Blair will be waived by the Suns on Monday, John Gambadoro of ArizonaSports.com reports.Blair came over from the Wizards along with Kris Humphries in last week's Markieff Morris deal, but it looks as though the Suns aren't interested in rostering the 26-year-old, who hasn't been a consistent rotational piece since the 2013-14 season. The former Pittsburgh standout will look to catch on with another team, but may have to wait until the offseason to find a new home if outside interest is low.

Suns' DeJuan Blair: Has been traded to the Suns

DeJuan Blair was traded to the Phoenix Suns on Thursday along with Kris Humphries and a protected first-round pick in exchange for Markieff Morris, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports reports.Blair figures to be a deep bench asset with all of Tyson Chandler, Alex Len, Mirza Teletovic, Jon Leuer, and Humphries ahead of him on the depth chart in the frontcourt. The 26-year-old has appeared in just 29 games with the Wizards and is averaging 2.1 points and two rebounds over 7.5 minutes. There's a good chance the Suns will waive him, as the trade was mostly about securing the first-round draft pick.

Wizards' DeJuan Blair: Fails to see major minutes this season

DeJuan Blair has averaged 2.1 points, 2.0 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.3 steals, and 0.1 blocks in 8 minutes per game through 29 games this season.Blair has failed to see much time on the court through the first half of the season, in part because of a lingering knee injury that continues to make his availability questionable. He can look forward to the All-Star break as some extra time to rest up. Even if healthy, Blair is buried deep on the Washington Wizards' bench behind the likes of Kris Humphries, Nene Hilario, and Jared Dudley.

Wizards' DeJuan Blair: Returns to the court Monday

DeJuan Blair (knee) played 13 minutes off the bench in Monday's 114-100 win over the Bulls, providing eight points (4-6 FG), three rebounds, and one assist.Blair had missed the Washington Wizards' previous six games while dealing with a sore knee, but checked out fine during the team's morning shootaround and was given clearance to play. His contributions were needed with the Wizards missing Marcin Gortat (knee) and Kris Humphries (knee) while Nene Hilario (calf) and Drew Gooden (calf) only recently returned from injuries of their own, but once at least three of those players are fully healthy at the same time, Blair's spot in the rotation could be eliminated.

Wizards' DeJuan Blair: A game-time decision Friday

DeJuan Blair (knee) is a game-time decision for Friday's game against Toronto, Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reports.Despite being cleared to play Wednesday, Blair did not get off the bench against the Cavaliers and now his knee injury has his status for Friday up in the air. With Kris Humphries (knee) out and Drew Gooden (calf) playing on a minutes restriction, another missed game from Blair would test Washington's front court depth.

Wizards' DeJuan Blair: Good to go Wednesday

DeJuan Blair (knee) has been cleared to play Wednesday against the Cavs, Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reports.Blair has missed the last three games with soreness in his knee, but he'll be available off the bench Wednesday. Wizards' DeJuan Blair: Questionable for Wednesday's game

DeJuan Blair (knee) took part in the Washington Wizards' morning shootaround, but remains questionable to play in Wednesday's contest against the Cavaliers, CSN Mid-Atlantic's J. Michael reports. The Wizards are finally starting to get healthy again, as all of Nene Hilario (calf), Gary Neal (quad), Drew Gooden (calf), and Blair were able to partake in shootaround. Hilario is the only player among the lot who has been confirmed as active for Wednesday's game, and his return may be enough to push Blair out of the rotation even if he too is cleared to play. Blair is averaging just 8.4 minutes over his 18 appearances, many of which had come after Hilario was sidelined.
