    Ognjen Kuzmic: Signs with Serbian club

    Ognjen Kuzmic signed a three-year contract Wednesday with Serbian club Red Star Belgrade, international basketball writer David Pick reports.The big man was reportedly being pursued by the Warriors as a bench addition, but he'll opt to return to Europe after spending last season in Greece. The 26-year-old's contract is believed to include opt-out options for 2017-18 and 2018-19, so he could potentially return to the NBA as soon as next season.

    The Golden State Warriors announced on Wednesday that center Ognjen Kuzmic has been assigned to the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA Development League.  Kuzmic averaged 1.3 points and 1.1 rebounds in 4.5 minutes with the Warriors in 16 games. In a previous stint with Santa Cruz, Kuzmic, in 24 starts, averaged 12.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.1 blocks and 1.5 assists in 30.3 minutes.
