Jared Sullinger: Returning to China
Jared Sullinger re-signed with Monday with the Shenzhen Leopards of the Chinese Basketball Association, Sportando.com reports. After attracting limited interest from NBA teams when he became a free agent last summer, Sullinger signed with Shenzhen and suited up in 45 games for the club, averaging 30.1 points, 16.6 boards, 4.1 assists, 1.6 three-pointers, 1.4 blocks and 1.3 steals in 39.6 minutes per contest. He's expected to rank among the league's most productive scorers as he returns to Shenzhen in 2018-19, though it's uncertain that he'll be able to parlay that production into a return to the NBA next spring.

Jared Sullinger: Signs two-month deal in China
Jared Sullinger signed a two-month, $300,000 contract with the Shenzhen Leopards of China, Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio reports.Sullinger had reportedly drawn interest from the Nets before the team decided to sign Tyler Zeller instead. Sullinger has notably struggled with weight and injury problems throughout his career, so will likely be using his time in China as proof to NBA teams that he has things under control. He told the Columbus Dispatch in July, "I lost a year of basketball directly because of what I have done -- my weight and my eating habits."

Suns' Jared Sullinger: Expected to be waived by Suns
Jared Sullinger is expected to be waived by the Phoenix Suns after being acquired via trade, Doug Haller of AZCentral Sports reports. The 24-year-old failed to secure a spot in the Raptors' rotation after recovering from a fractured right foot that cost him the first two and a half months of the season. Because of that, the Suns have opted not to keep him on the roster after acquiring him, apparently valuing their current young big men over Sullinger, who has yet to prove he's healthy enough to be a rotational player this season.

Suns' Jared Sullinger: Traded to Phoenix
Jared Sullinger and two second-round picks will be sent from the Raptors to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for P.J. Tucker, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.Sullinger missed the first two and a half months of the season after undergoing surgery to address a fractured right foot, but even when at full strength, he failed to garner a regular spot in the Raptors' rotation. With the Raptors trading for Serge Ibaka, that made Sullinger even more expendable, so he'll now head to Phoenix. Sullinger will still be relegated to a bench role with the Suns behind Marquese Chriss, so there likely won't be a huge bump in value despite the change in scenery.

Raptors' Jared Sullinger: Recalled from D-League
Jared Sullinger was recalled from the D-League's Toronto Raptors 905 on Sunday. The Raptors sent Sullinger to the 905 so he could get some extended run in Saturday's game against the Canton Charge, during which he recorded 16 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in 27 minutes. It's unclear if the Raptors will have Patrick Patterson (ankle) back for Sunday's game against the Pistons, but Sullinger doesn't seem likely to take on substantial playing time if Patterson remains unavailable. Sullinger hasn't played more than 17 minutes in any of his 11 appearances with the Raptors since returning in January from a fractured right foot.

Raptors' Jared Sullinger: Assigned to D-League
Jared Sullinger was assigned to the D-League's Toronto Raptors 905 on Friday.Sullinger is expected to suit up for the 905 in their game Saturday against the Canton Charge before returning to the Raptors in time for Sunday's game against the Pistons. Though Sullinger returned nearly three weeks ago from the fractured right foot that had sidelined him all season, he's yet to gain a sizable role with the second unit. Sullinger has seen single-digit minutes in each of the Raptors' last four games and still appears to be behind the rest of his teammates from a conditioning standpoint.

Raptors' Jared Sullinger: Plays only five minutes Sunday
Jared Sullinger played five minutes in a 103-95 win over the Nets on Sunday, scoring no points and grabbing one rebound.Sullinger looked as though he turned a corner when he provided season highs in points (13) and rebounds (six) in 16 minutes during a Feb. 1 loss to his former team in the Celtics, but the big man still hasn't quite established himself as a major fixture in the rotation since returning from a fractured foot. He's fallen below the 10-minute mark in both of the last two contests, and his limited usage Sunday came in a contest that the Toronto Raptors were without fellow power forward Patrick Patterson (knee). Until Sullinger routinely hits the 20-minute mark, it will be difficult to justify rostering him in most leagues.

Raptors' Jared Sullinger: Recalled from D-League
Jared Sullinger was recalled Sunday from the D-League's Toronto Raptors 905.Despite being at full strength, Sullinger was completely held out of Friday's game against the Bucks, so the Raptors opted to send him to the 905 in order to get some extended run. He's back with the big club after logging 27 minutes in the 905's win Saturday over the Delaware 87ers, during which he provided 18 points and 15 rebounds in 27 minutes. Now that he's back with the Raptors, Sullinger should dress for Sunday's game against the Magic, but isn't a safe bet to reenter the rotation.

Raptors' Jared Sullinger: Sent to D-League Saturday
Jared Sullinger was sent down to the D-League on Saturday, Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports reports.Sullinger received a DNP-CD during Friday's game against the Bucks, and he'll likely only remain in the D-League for one game to get some extra run and help build his wind. It seems probable that he'll be available for the Toronto Raptors' next contest, which comes Sunday against the Magic.

Raptors' Jared Sullinger: Warms bench during Friday's win
Jared Sullinger received a DNP-CD during Friday's 102-86 win over the Bucks.Sullinger was somewhat surprisingly moved out of the rotation after he had played 14.0 minutes per game since his return from a foot injury. But he has been awful since he returned from the injury, with averages of 4.0 points on 25.8 percent shooting and 2.6 rebounds per game over the five previous games. It's unlikely that the team is giving up on him this quickly, so we'll see if he moves back into the rotation against the Magic on Sunday.
