  • Drew Eubanks C | SAC

Jazz's Drew Eubanks: Iffy for Tuesday

Eubanks (illness) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Kings.

Eubanks was a late addition to the injury report ahead of Monday's game against the Mavericks and was ultimately ruled out. It appears he's feeling better and has a chance to suit up for the second night of Utah's back-to-back set, but even if he's cleared, he's not guaranteed playing time.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Medical staff remaining patient

The Celtics are targeting a December return for Porzingis (foot), but the team plans to remain patient and not rush the big man back to the court, Shams Charania of ESPN said Tuesday during his appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show."

Porzingis underwent foot surgery in June and was given an estimated 5-to-6-month recovery timeline. He hasn't progressed to contact work yet, but he was spotted going through a light shooting workout ahead of Monday's win over the Bucks. The Celtics have four convincing wins to start the season, including double-digit victories over the Bucks and Knicks, so Porzingis and the medical staff will likely remain cautious, even once the Latvian sharpshooter is cleared for game action.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Blocks four shots in loss

Jackson ended with seven points (2-8 FG, 3-6 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and four blocks over 22 minutes during Monday's 119-115 loss to the Magic.

Jackson is one of the best per-minute shot blockers in the NBA, and he showed what he can do Monday. Inconsistent playing time has plagued Jackson throughout his career, however. We'll see if coach Rick Carlisle will warm up to the idea of playing him more. For now, his opportunities may continue to be matchup-based or when starting center Myles Turner gets in foul trouble.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Ruled out for Wednesday

Embiid (knee) will not play Wednesday against the Pistons, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Embiid, who missed the entire preseason with a left knee issue, will now miss his fourth straight contest to open the regular season. Embiid did participate in portions of Tuesday's practice, suggesting that he remains day-to-day. He'll be re-evaluated later in the week, but for now, fantasy managers should consider him questionable for Saturday's game against Memphis.

  • Spurs' Charles Bassey: Recalled from G League

The Spurs recalled Bassey from the G League's Austin Spurs on Monday.

Bassey spent a single day with Austin to open training camp. When San Antonio is at full strength, Bassey will have a difficult time cracking the rotation.

  • Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Matches career high with 20 rebounds

Wembanyama logged 14 points (6-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 20 rebounds, five assists and four blocks over 35 minutes during Monday's 106-101 loss to the Rockets.

Wembanyama couldn't find his shot from distance, but he had an efficient offensive game on the interior and contributed five assists. The bigger story was his presence on the glass -- he matched his career high with 20 rebounds -- not to mention a season-high four blocks. The sophomore phenom has yet to put it all together into one massive performance, but that will come sooner than later. He's already posted season highs of 29 points, 20 rebounds, five assists and four blocks in three games.

  • Lakers' Christian Koloko: Medically cleared to return

Koloko has been medically cleared to play by the NBA's fitness-to-play panel, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.

Koloko will begin practicing with the Lakers this week, but it remains to be seen how soon he'll actually take the floor in a live game setting. Still, this is great news for the Lakers, as Koloko will give their frontcourt a huge boost with his rim-protection ability.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Nabs double-double in win

Sabonis provided 16 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 13 rebounds and seven assists in 36 minutes during Monday's 111-98 victory over the Trail Blazers.

Sabonis led the club with a game-high 13 boards in the matchup. The 28-year-old has already logged a double-double and a triple-double through three regular-season outings, and he has done it all while shooting an extremely efficient 65.7 percent from the field. Moreover, the big man is shooting 55.6 percent from beyond the arc on what would be a career-high 3.0 attempts per game. Sabonis is averaging 23.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.7 steals-plus-blocks across 37.0 minutes per game.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Plays just 15 minutes

Nurkic contributed two points (1-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds and two blocks over 15 minutes during Monday's 109-105 victory over the Lakers.

Nurkic had a nightmare outing Monday, and the Suns struggled mightily whenever he was on the floor. Mason Plumlee played 26 minutes as a result, and this could be a worrying trend to monitor for Nurkic's fantasy managers moving forward.

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Strong stat line in loss Monday

Davis closed Monday's 109-105 loss to the Suns with 29 points (12-24 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal across 35 minutes.

The fact that this 29-point output was Davis' lowest mark of the season goes to show just how dominant he's been for the Lakers in the early stages of the new campaign. The star big man has settled as the team's go-to threat on offense, even ahead of LeBron James, thanks to averages of 32.8 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.5 blocks per game to open the campaign.
