  • Nuggets' DeAndre Jordan: Plays off bench Tuesday

Jordan (rest) scored six points (2-3 FG, 2-6 3Pt) while adding nine rebounds and an assist across 17 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's 124-94 preseason loss to the Thunder.

Jordan returned to the hardwood after not playing in Denver's previous two preseason games. The veteran big man is expected to be a depth option off the bench and will likely be the third- or fourth-string center, with Dario Saric and Zeke Nnaji competing for the backup role behind Nikola Jokic.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Just misses out on triple-double

Sabonis tallied 29 points (11-21 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 16 rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 117-114 preseason win over the Jazz.

Sabonis continued his dominant stretch of play Tuesday, and he converted his first three-pointer of the preseason. Sabonis led the NBA in triple-doubles with 26 last season and doesn't appear to be slowing down heading into the 2024-25 campaign.

  • John Collins PF | LAC

Jazz's John Collins: Three swats in win

Collins (rest) posted 12 points (5-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-3 FT), four rebounds, three blocks and one steal in 20 minutes during Tuesday's 117-114 preseason win over the Kings.

Collins returned to action Tuesday after missing Utah's previous contest for rest purposes. Despite struggling with his outside shot, Collins' defensive contributions gave the Jazz a big boost off the bench in their win over Sacramento. He's set to start at center for Utah this season.

  • Kings' Orlando Robinson: Sits out again

Robinson (knee) didn't play in Tuesday's 117-114 preseason loss to the Jazz.

Robinson has yet to suit up this preseason while dealing with a knee injury. His next chance to play is Thursday's preseason finale against the Clippers.

  • Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Starting Tuesday

Hartenstein will crack the starting lineup in Tuesday's preseason game against Denver.

Hartenstein replaces Alex Caruso in the starting five as head coach Mark Daigneault looks to experiment with different lineups prior to the start of the regular season. Hartenstein has had strong outings in both of his preseason games with the Thunder, including a nine-rebound effort against Houston. While it remains to be seen whether he will start in the regular season, Hartenstein will undoubtedly be a key contributor for Oklahoma City moving forward.

  • Jericho Sims C | MIL

Knicks' Jericho Sims: Receives start vs. Hornets

Sims will enter the starting lineup in Tuesday's preseason game against the Hornets, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.

Sims will enter the starting lineup with the club deciding to rest its normal starters Tuesday. The 25-year-old is expected to serve as the Knicks' third-string center behind Karl-Anthony Towns (rest) and Precious Achiuwa until Mitchell Robinson (ankle) returns to game action. Sims will likely struggle to find consistent playing time when Robinson does make his return.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Sitting out against OKC

Jokic won't play in Tuesday's preseason game versus the Thunder for rest purposes, Nuggets writer Matt Brooks reports.

Jokic hasn't suffered any injury but is sitting out Tuesday alongside Jamal Murray and Russell Westbrook. Jokic's next chance to suit up is Thursday's preseason finale against Minnesota.

  • Zach Collins C | CHI

Spurs' Zach Collins: Returns to bench

Collins isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's preseason game versus the Heat.

Victor Wembanyama will reclaim his starting spot from Collins against Miami. However, Wembanyama is expected to play just 15 minutes, so Collins could still see extended playing time Tuesday.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Celtics' Al Horford: Starting in preseason debut

Horford will enter the starting five in Tuesday's preseason matchup against the Raptors, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Horford missed the majority of the preseason due to rest purposes, though he will replace Neemias Queta in the starting five Tuesday. Luke Kornet has been a mainstay in the preseason starting lineup, but Horford's return will push Queta and Kornet back to the bench.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

    Rockets' Steven Adams: Active Tuesday

Adams (rest) is active for Tuesday's preseason game against the Pelicans, Jackson Gatlin of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Adams was a healthy scratch for last Wednesday's preseason game versus the Thunder, though he is expected to return off the bench Tuesday. The veteran big man didn't play a single game last year due to knee surgery, though he is expected to be fully ready for Opening Night.
