Neemias Queta C | BOS
Celtics' Neemias Queta: Reverts to bench
Queta will move to the second unit for Tuesday's preseason game against the Raptors, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
This is an expected move with Boston getting most of its key players back from a planned rest day. With Kristaps Porzingis sidelined to start the season, Queta is competing for rotational minutes with Xavier Tillman.

Victor Wembanyama C | SA
Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Under minutes restriction Tuesday
Wembanyama will play around 15 minutes during Tuesday's preseason game versus the Heat, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Wembanyama isn't suffering from any injury, but the Spurs are managing his playing time during the preseason. Once the regular season rolls around, Wembanyama should start logging around the 29.7 minutes per contest he averaged as a rookie.

Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA
Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Still absent from practice
Coach Mike Budenholzer said Tuesday that Nurkic (finger) has yet to do any contact practice and is working on his conditioning, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Nurkic hasn't seen any action this preseason due to a left middle finger injury. While Nurkic will almost certainly miss Phoenix's preseason finale against the Lakers on Thursday, his availability to begin the regular season is uncertain.

Luke Kornet C | SA
Celtics' Luke Kornet: Will play Tuesday
Kornet (rest) will play in Tuesday's preseason game against the Raptors, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
After resting Sunday against Toronto, Kornet, along with the rest of Boston's usual starters, will return to action for Tuesday's rematch. With Kristaps Porzingis (foot) unavailable to start the campaign and Al Horford's veteran restrictions, Kornet will play a key role for the reigning champions early on.

Al Horford C | GS
Celtics' Al Horford: Cleared to make preseason debut
Horford (rest) will play in Tuesday's preseason game against the Raptors, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
After getting the veteran rest treatment for the first four exhibitions, Horford makes his preseason debut. With Kristaps Porzingis (foot) sidelined to start the campaign, Horford's availability and impact will be a key storyline early on.

Wendell Carter Jr. C | ORL
Magic's Wendell Carter: Status for Friday TBD
Coach Jamahl Mosley said Carter went through live work during Tuesday's practice, but the center's status for Friday's preseason finale against the 76ers remains to be determined, Philip Rossman-Reich of OrlandoMagicDaily.com reports.
Carter is considered day-to-day after spraining his left ankle during Monday's preseason loss to the Pelicans. Even if he isn't cleared to suit up for the preseason finale, it appears Carter is on track for the start of the regular season. However, the big man has appeared in more than 60 regular-season games only once in his career, so Orlando may proceed cautiously.

Charles Bassey C | GS
Spurs' Charles Bassey: Cleared to play Tuesday
Bassey (knee) will suit up for Tuesday's preseason game against the Heat, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Bassey is cleared to make his first appearance since tearing his ACL in December of 2023. He's competing for backup center minutes with Zach Collins and Sandro Mamukelashvili.

Victor Wembanyama C | SA
Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Will suit up Tuesday
Wembanyama (rest) will suit up for Tuesday's preseason game against the Heat, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
As expected, Wembanyama will return to action after resting during Saturday's preseason win over Utah. In his preseason debut against the Magic last Wednesday, Wembanyama posted 11 points (4-15 FG), nine rebounds, four assists and three blocks in 23 minutes.

Clint Capela C | HOU
Hawks' Clint Capela: Near double-double vs. 76ers
Capela tallied 10 points (5-8 FG), nine rebounds, three assists and one block over 21 minutes during Monday's 104-89 preseason loss to the 76ers.
Capela has been one rebound shy of registering a double-double in each of his two preseason outings. The 2014 first-round pick should hoard the boards during the 2024-25 regular season as he serves as the Hawks' defensive anchor. During the 2023-24 campaign, Capela averaged 11.5 points on 57.1 percent shooting, 10.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.5 blocks over 25.8 minutes per game across 73 regular-season contests.

Ivica Zubac C | IND
Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Double-doubles in preseason win
Zubac finished with 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-2FT), 12 rebounds, four steals and one assist in 24 minutes during Monday's 110-96 preseason win over Dallas.
Zubac was his usual self in the win, notching a double-double in limited minutes. With very little competition for playing time this season, Zubac could be in for a career-high workload, which could result in his best fantasy season to date. Although his upside is limited due to his offensive game and serviceable defensive production, Zubac makes for a very solid center target in the eighth or ninth rounds of drafts.
