  • Hornets' Nick Richards: Questionable against Orlando

Richards (foot) is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Magic.

Richards is in danger of missing his third straight contest Friday due to right foot plantar fascia discomfort. If Richards is ruled out yet again, Grant Williams (ankle) will likely draw another start at center.

  • Myles Turner C | MIL

Pacers' Myles Turner: Iffy against Thunder

Turner (finger) is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus Oklahoma City.

Turner is in danger of missing his second straight contest Friday due to a sprained finger. If Turner is ruled out against the Thunder, Jalen Smith will likely draw another start.

  • Mike Muscala C | OKC

Thunder's Mike Muscala: Insignificant in blowout loss

Muscala produced two points (1-1 FG), one rebound and one block in six minutes during Wednesday's 135-100 loss to the Celtics.

Since signing with the Thunder on March 1, Muscala has struggled to carve out his role in the rotation, appearing in 11 games and averaging just 1.0 points and 0.9 rebounds in 4.1 minutes. With the Thunder frontcourt fully healthy, Muscala should be expected to step into valuable minutes only if Chet Holmgren or Jaylin Williams is sidelined.

  • Nets' Nic Claxton: Swats four shots in win

Claxton totaled 14 points (7-10 FG, 0-2 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and four blocks across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 115-111 win over the Pacers.

Claxton recorded a team-high 13 rebounds during Wednesday's win en route to his 29th double-double of the season. The 24-year-old big man has also been a shot-blocking machine, tallying 11 games with at least four rejections so far in 2023-24.

  • Mo Bamba C | UTA

76ers' Mo Bamba: Absent from shootaround

Bamba (illness), who is questionable for Thursday's game against the Heat, didn't participate in the 76ers' morning shootaround, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Bamba was a late scratch for Tuesday's game against the Thunder, and he continues to deal with an illness ahead of Thursday's matchup. His absence from Philadelphia's morning shootaround is discouraging, and it's possible he's unavailable for a second consecutive game.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Participates in shootaround

Embiid (knee), who is questionable for Thursday's game against the Heat, participated in the 76ers' morning shootaround, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Embiid returned to the court Tuesday against the Thunder and tallied 24 points, seven assists, six rebounds and three steals in 29 minutes. While he remains questionable for Thursday's matchup, his participation in shootaround is encouraging. The 76ers will presumably see how he feels following his morning activity, and he'll likely remain on a minutes restriction if he's cleared to play Thursday.

  • Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton: Big double-double in win

Ayton ended with 24 points (12-22 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 16 rebounds and two assists across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 89-86 victory over the Hornets.

The 25-year-old center delivered his 28th double-double of the season, including his seventh in his last 10 games -- although Ayton also missed nine games in March due to hand and elbow injuries. When he's been healthy he's been productive though, and during those 10 contests he's averaged 23.1 points, 13.3 boards and 1.3 assists while shooting 60.0 percent from the floor.

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Grabs 18 boards vs. Washington

Davis ended with 35 points (10-17 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 15-15 FT), 18 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and two steals over 38 minutes during Wednesday's 125-120 victory over the Wizards.

Davis registered his 61st double-double of the season Wednesday, and he is third in the NBA in that category behind Domantas Sabonis and Nikola Jokic. Davis made all 15 of his free-throw attempts, which marked a season high. The important thing for Davis and the Lakers is that the All-Star has managed to stay on the court, as he's played 72 of the team's 77 games this season. Since the All-Star break, Davis has averaged 24.5 points on 55.8 percent shooting, 14.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.1 blocks and 1.3 steals over 36.0 minutes per game.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Posts 20 points in loss

Allen finished with 20 points (9-15 FG, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and four assists across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 122-101 loss to the Suns.

It's been a month since we've seen an explosive scoring total from Allen, but he's still remarkably consistent. He's notched a double-double in five of his last 10 games and has averaged 18.6 points, 9.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists over that span.

  • Bol Bol C | PHO

Suns' Bol Bol: Impresses from bench with 15 points

Bol recorded 15 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals over 22 minutes during Wednesday's 122-101 win over Cleveland.

Bol played despite nursing an ankle injury and logged his second-best scoring total of the season. The 7-2 big man decided to show his range in the win with a season-high three three-pointers. He displayed his flair beyond the arc last season with Orlando, and it's an added dimension that Jusuf Nurkic can't provide at the five. Although Bol's evening won't result in a switch for the first unit, Bol's role will likely increase if he stays consistent.
