Pacers' Myles Turner: Exits Monday with sprained finger

Turner won't return to Monday's game against the Nets due to a sprained right finger.

Turner exited the game briefly in the first half and eventually returned to action, but he won't be back for the second half of Monday's contest. The big man ends Monday's game with nine points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, five blocks and one steal across 14 minutes. The Pacers will turn to Jalen Smith and Isaiah Jackson to cover his minutes at center for the rest of Monday's game, and until the team provides an update on Turner's condition, he'll be viewed as questionable for Wednesday's rematch with the Nets in Brooklyn.

  • Jalen Duren C | DET

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Won't return Monday

Duren (tooth) has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game against Memphis, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports. He'll finish with zero points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and two turnovers in five minutes.

Duren wasn't cleared to return to the contest after he checked out of the game with 6:55 remaining in the first quarter upon having a tooth dislodged when he collided with the Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson. James Wiseman will likely cover most of the minutes at center for the rest of Monday's contest and would presumably start Wednesday's game in Atlanta if Duren is unable to play.

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Questionable to return Monday

Duren is questionable to return Monday against the Grizzlies after having a tooth dislodged in a collision with Memphis' Jaren Jackson in the first quarter, Keith Langlois of the Pistons' official site reports.

Duren checked out of the game with 6:55 remaining in the quarter and immediately headed to the locker room to for further evaluation. If Duren is unable to return, James Wiseman would likely see most of the minutes at center for the rest of the game.

  • Mavericks' Dereck Lively: Questionable to play Tuesday

Lively is questionable for Tuesday's game against Golden State due to right knee soreness.

Lively was forced to exit Sunday's win over Houston in the first half after suffering a right leg injury, but he appears to have dodged any serious affliction. That being said, if he's unable to suit up Tuesday, Daniel Gafford could see an uptick from the 24.5 minute workload he has averaged across his last 10 appearances.

  • Jalen Duren C | DET

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Exits in first quarter

Duren left Monday's game against the Grizzlies in the first quarter to be evaluated in the locker room for an apparent injury, Mike Curtis of The Detroit News reports.

Duren appeared to be clutching at his mouth after taking an inadvertent hit to the face from Jaren Jackson. The Pistons should have an update on Duren's status for the rest of the game shortly.

  • John Collins PF | LAC

Jazz's John Collins: Remains out vs. Cavs

Collins (back) won't play Tuesday against Cleveland, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Collins will miss his second straight contest while dealing with back spasms. Walker Kessler and Taylor Hendricks should continue to see more opportunities in Collins' absence.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Probable to face San Antonio

Jokic (hip) is probable to face the Spurs on Tuesday.

The probable tag suggests Jokic should end up playing despite being less than 100 percent. He gets a complicated one-on-one matchup against Victor Wembanyama, though Jokic already posted 39 points, 11 rebounds and nine rebounds in his previous meeting against the Spurs this season.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Celtics' Al Horford: Gets starting nod Monday

Horford is in the starting lineup to face the Hornets on Monday.

Horford will slide into the starting unit with Jaylen Brown (hand) out. This will move Jayson Tatum to the small forward role, while Horford will play alongside Kristaps Porzingis in the frontcourt. Horford is averaging 10.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 blocks per game across 30 starts this season.

  • Taj Gibson PF | MEM

Pistons' Taj Gibson: Ruled out Monday

Gibson (hamstring) won't play Monday against the Grizzlies.

As expected, Gibson won't feature Monday, meaning the veteran big man will now miss a seventh consecutive game -- and the 14th of Detroit's last 15 contests. His next chance to play will come against the Hawks on Wednesday.

  • Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Questionable for Tuesday's game

Holmes (toe) is questionable for Tuesday's game against Milwaukee.

Holmes has missed the last two games due to a bruised left toe, and it's unclear whether he'll be able to return to action Tuesday. If he remains out Tuesday, Marvin Bagley will likely continue to see increased run.
