  • Jock Landale C | ATL

Rockets' Jock Landale: Thrives in starting role Monday

Landale racked up 17 points (6-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and one block across 32 minutes during Monday's 110-92 victory over Portland.

Landale drew his first start of the season Monday due to the suspension of Jabari Smith, and there's no question the veteran big man made the most of the opportunity. He's been playing really well of late, scoring in double digits in five of his last seven outings, but he should return to a backup role ahead of Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

  • Nets' Nic Claxton: Grabs 16 rebounds Monday

Claxton supplied nine points (4-5 FG, 1-2 FT), 16 rebounds, two assists and one block in 35 minutes during Monday's 96-88 win over the Raptors.

Claxton didn't have his best scoring performance Monday, but it wasn't due to a lack of efficiency, as he made four of his five attempts from the field. He certainly made his presence felt on the glass, and he ended just one rebound shy from tying his season-high mark in that category. Claxton has grabbed 10 or more rebounds in eight of his 13 appearances this month.

  • Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Big night on glass

Vucevic amassed nine points (3-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 16 rebounds, three assists and three blocks over 30 minutes during Monday's 107-105 loss to Washington.

The 16 boards were his highest total since he pulled down 17 against the Magic on Feb. 10. Vucevic saw his streak of games with double-digit points end at 16 though, as Monday was the first time since the All-Star break he'd failed to put up at least 10 points. Since the ASB, the veteran center has averaged 19.5 points, 10.8 boards, 3.1 assists and 1.2 threes while shooting 51.0 percent from the floor.

  • Bulls' Andre Drummond: Grabs first double-double in March

Drummond provided 10 points (5-9 FG), 12 rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 19 minutes off the bench during Monday's 107-105 loss to the Wizards.

It's the first double-double in March for Drummond, as the previous one occurred during his last start for the Bulls on Feb. 28. The veteran center has topped 20 minutes in only two of 13 games on the month. That limited workload has put a firm cap on his production, as he's averaged just 7.5 points, 7.9 boards and 0.4 blocks. As long as Nikola Vucevic is healthy, Drummond will be tough to roster in most fantasy formats.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Breaks records in victory

Sabonis ended with 11 points (3-5 FG, 5-8 FT), 13 rebounds, 10 assists and one block in 33 minutes during Monday's 108-96 win over Philadelphia.

Sabonis joined an exclusive group with his 25th triple-double of the season, a feat achieved by only four other players in NBA history. Sabonis' 54th consecutive double-double set another record, as his effort broke a tie with Kevin Love for the longest streak since the NBA/ABA merger. Despite his historic season, Sabonis is getting little respect as an MVP candidate, and his All-Star snub this season can easily be described as an oversight. Sabonis and Nikola Jokic have both been consistent fantasy standouts, and Sabonis has outproduced the presumptive MVP in several categories.

  • Wizards' Marvin Bagley: Efficient off bench Monday

Bagley finished with 16 points (7-8 FG, 2-2 FT) and two rebounds over 17 minutes off the bench during Monday's 107-105 win over the Bulls.

Playing his second game since returning from a back issue, Bagley remained behind Richaun Holmes on the depth chart at center for the Wizards but had a very efficient offensive performance. Holmes has been a beast on the glass the last few games, so while the 25-year-old Bagley is more likely to be part of the team's future plans, they may be in no rush to push him back into the starting five to close out the 2023-24 season.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Celtics' Al Horford: Exploited down the stretch

Horford totaled seven points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), nine rebounds, two assists and one block in 36 minutes during Monday's 120-118 loss to the Hawks.

Horford delivered his trademark offensive synergy and chipped in on the defensive glass, but Atlanta beat him to the rim and punished him on the offensive glass in the fourth quarter of Monday's loss. Horford has been sharp of late, averaging 15.2 points and 5.6 rebounds on 60.0 percent shooting in 32.2 minutes across his last five games, but Monday serves as a reminder of the danger involved in Boston being heavily reliant on the 37-year-old defensively.

  • Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Double-double in Chicago

Holmes recorded 14 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 31 minutes during Monday's 107-105 victory over the Bulls.

The veteran big has started six straight games since returning from a toe injury March 16, and his production -- particularly on the glass -- has grown nearly with each contest. Holmes has ripped down at least 14 boards in three straight games, and over the last four he has averaged 11.8 points, 13.5 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 assists while shooting 54.5 percent from the floor. Marvin Bagley returned from his own back injury Saturday but has been on a minutes restriction the last two games, playing just 17 minutes Monday, and given Holmes' current form he may not give up the starting role easily.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Double-double against Charlotte

Allen contributed 17 points (7-9 FG, 3-3 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Monday's 115-92 victory over the Hornets.

It's the 36th double-double of the season for Allen, as he extends his career high in that category. Eight of them have come in the last 12 games for the 25-year-old center, a stretch in which he's averaged 18.2 points, 12.0 boards, 2.5 assists and 1.1 blocks while shooting 60.0 percent from the floor. With Donovan Mitchell (nose) still lacking a timeline for his return, other Cavaliers like Allen will need to keep stepping up to keep the team out of the Play-In Tournament -- Cleveland is currently third in the Eastern Conference at 44-28, but only 4.5 games ahead of seventh-place Miami.

  • Zach Collins C | CHI

Spurs' Zach Collins: Solid in start

Collins produced 18 points (7-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal over 30 minutes during Monday's 104-102 win over the Suns. He also had three turnovers.

Collins has averaged 16.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 27.3 minutes across three starts in March. His three-point shot is a fading element of his game, averaging just 1.5 attempts from deep across his last 10 contests, but he was still able to score effectively Monday.
