  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Dealing with impaired vision

Davis' left eye was swollen shut and he was experiencing impaired vision after he exited early in Saturday's 128-121 loss to the Warriors, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.

Davis sustained what was described as an abrasion with 2:47 left in the first quarter, when he was poked in the left eye by the Warriors' Trayce Jackson-Davis. Though he initially played though the issue, Davis' eye began to swell up before he made a visit to the locker room. The Lakers then ruled Davis out for the game midway through the third quarter. According to McMenamin, Davis is scheduled to be monitored throughout Sunday's off day before the Lakers determine his status for Monday's matchup with the Hawks.

  • Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Poor numbers in return

Holmes (toe) posted seven points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 26 minutes Saturday in the Wizards' 127-98 loss to the Bulls.

Holmes made his return from a three-game absence due to a left big toe sprain and reclaimed a spot in the starting five, and despite facing no minutes restriction, he turned in an underwhelming fantasy line. With the Wizards ruling Marvin Bagley (back) out once again Sunday against the Celtics, Holmes should draw another start in the second leg of the back-to-back set.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Limited at practice, no timetable

Coach Nick Nurse said Embiid (knee) participated in parts of the 76ers' non-contact practice Sunday, but the center remains without a timetable for a return, Lauren Rosen of the 76ers' official site reports.

Embiid continues to progress in his rehab from Feb. 6 surgery to address a left meniscus injury, and his ability to take part in basketball activities would seem to represent a major step forward in his recovery. However, the big man will likely miss several more games, as he'll presumably need to regain his conditioning after being cleared for contact work. The Sixers have fallen into the Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament during Embiid's absence, and they'll likely remain there if he doesn't return to game action soon.

  • Wizards' Marvin Bagley: Remains out Sunday

Bagley (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Celtics.

Bagley will miss a seventh straight game, so Richaun Holmes should draw another start at center. Bagley's next chance to suit up comes Tuesday versus Houston.

  • Jazz's Walker Kessler: Nears double-double in start

Kessler closed with seven points (3-4 FG, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds and one block over 30 minutes during Saturday's 119-100 loss to the Timberwolves.

Kessler returned to the starting lineup due to the absence of John Collins (rest), hauling in a team-high-tying rebound total while ending three points short of a double-double in a balanced performance. Kessler has been strong on the glass for Utah this season, posting his 14th game with 10 or more rebounds. He has grabbed 10 or more boards in three of his last five outings, adding five or more points in all three contests.

  • Naz Reid C | MIN

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: All-around showing in start

Reid supplied 22 points (7-18 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals over 35 minutes during Saturday's 119-100 win over the Jazz.

With Rudy Gobert (ribs) absent, Reid got the starting nod, leading all players in Saturday's contest in rebounds and ending as one of three Timberwolves with 20 or more points in a double-double performance. Reid has started two games this year and recorded at least 20 points in both outings. He has four double-doubles this season, but this was his first 20-point, 10-rebound showcase.

  • Chet Holmgren PF | OKC

Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Double-doubles, swats three shots

Holmgren finished Saturday's 118-112 win over Memphis with 22 points (8-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one steal over 32 minutes.

Holmgren recorded a double-double for the third time over his last six appearances, and the rookie big man continues to make a huge impact on both ends of the court for a surging Thunder team. Holmgren is averaging 14.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.3 blocks per game since the beginning of March.

  • Grizzlies' Brandon Clarke: Practices in G League again

The Grizzlies recalled Clarke (Achilles) from the G League's Memphis Hustle on Saturday.

Clarke was assigned and recalled on the same day and presumably went through another practice with the Grizzlies' G League affiliate, as the Hustle didn't play a game Saturday. The veteran forward has yet to play this season while rehabbing from an Achilles surgery last year, but he's nearing a return to game action. However, even when cleared, Clarke figures to operate under major restrictions.

  • Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Carves up Washington

Vucevic racked up 29 points (11-19 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 31 minutes during Saturday's 127-98 win over the Wizards.

Vucevic capitalized on an idyllic fantasy matchup against a Washington frontcourt consisting of Richaun Holmes, Eugene Omoruyi and Patrick Baldwin. Vucevic's three-point shooting continues to be massively underwhelming, and it's tough to count on him booming consistently without a better stroke from deep, but Saturday's production proves he can still crush mismatches.

  • Hornets' Nick Richards: Double-double in Saturday's loss

Richards closed with 11 points (4-5 FG, 3-3 FT), 11 rebounds, one block and one steal in 30 minutes during Saturday's 109-98 loss to the 76ers.

It was the fourth-year center's 17th double-double of the season as he continues to build on a career high in the category. Richards has pulled down more than 10 boards in five of the last six games, averaging 9.3 points, 11.3 rebounds and 0.8 blocks over that stretch while shooting 64.9 percent from the floor.
