Hawks' Clint Capela: Solid performance in win

Capela notched 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and one block in 25 minutes during Tuesday's 116-100 win over the Knicks.

Capela might not be the automatic double-double machine he was during his prime years, but he remains a player capable of making things happen on both ends of the court. The veteran big man is averaging just 8.2 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game since the end of the All-Star break, and while those numbers are borderline when it comes to a starting gig in fantasy, he will continue to hold value as long as he remains a starter for the Hawks.

  • Pelicans' Jonas Valanciunas: Registers double-double Tuesday

Valanciunas totaled 10 points (3-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one block in 20 minutes during Tuesday's 139-98 win over the Raptors.

Valanciunas notched his 32nd double-double of the season Tuesday and led the Pelicans in rebounding. His playing time has typically hovered in the mid-20s this season, but he tends to be efficient with the few touches he does receive on the offensive side of the ball. Valanciunas is averaging 13.4 points on 56.8 percent shooting, 9.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.0 blocks over 25.1 minutes per game this season.

  • Nets' Nic Claxton: Double-doubles with four blocks

Claxton notched 17 points (6-8 FG, 5-6 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and four blocks over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 112-107 win over the 76ers.

Claxton missed just two shots from the field in this one, but perhaps more importantly, he recorded his 22nd double-double of the campaign, as well as his 33rd outing with two or more blocks. A key two-way player for the Nets, Claxton is an excellent two-way option in category-based leagues, particularly due to his high shooting percentages and impact on the defensive end.

  • Magic's Wendell Carter: Comes close to double-double

Carter closed Tuesday's 101-89 win over the Hornets with 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal across 29 minutes.

Carter has gone four straight games without a double-double, but the big man continues to deliver strong numbers every time he steps on the court. Even though Carter holds a secondary role in Orlando's offensive scheme, he has scored in double digits in all but one of the team's seven games since the end of the All-Star break. He also grabbed at least seven boards in five of those appearances.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Erupts for career-best 45 points

Sengun finished Tuesday's 114-101 win over the Spurs with 45 points (19-32 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 16 rebounds, three assists, one block and five steals in 37 minutes.

The 21-year-old center became the youngest player in NBA history -- or at least since steals became an official stat in 1973-74 -- to record at least 45 points, 15 boards and five steals in the same game, joining an exclusive club that includes James Harden, Joel Embiid and Anthony Davis. The points and steals were also career highs for Sengun, while the 16 rebounds were a season high. The double-double was his 28th of the campaign, leaving him one short of tying the career-high 29 he set last season.

  • Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Seven rejections in Tuesday's loss

Wembanyama logged 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt), 11 rebounds, three assists and seven blocks across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 114-101 loss to the Rockets.

The rookie center was in the locker room for the final minutes of the first half to get his shoulder checked out, but he was back on the court after halftime and was his usual dominant presence at the defensive end. Wembanyama has recorded at least three rejections in nine straight games, averaging 23.0 points, 11.7 boards, 5.6 blocks, 5.0 assists, 2.3 threes and 2.1 steals over that stretch as he continues his ascent toward superstardom.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Double-double in Tuesday's win

Allen notched 21 points (9-16 FG, 3-3 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists and one block across 35 minutes during Tuesday's 105-104 victory over Boston.

It's Allen's seventh double-double in the last 12 games and 29th of the season, leaving him just three short of tying his career high. Over that 12-game stretch, the 25-year-old center is averaging 17.3 points, 10.3 boards, 2.5 assists and 1.1 blocks while shooting 59.6 percent from the floor. With Evan Mobley (ankle) potentially facing an extended absence, Allen's usage in the Cavs' frontcourt could get boosted even further.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Hits for 24 in return

Porzingis closed with 24 points (9-18 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 105-104 loss to the Cavaliers.

After missing Sunday's game against the Warriors due to a bruised quadricep, Porzingis was back in the lineup and provided his usual numbers. The 28-year-old big has scored in double digits in 14 straight appearances dating back to Jan. 13, averaging 22.1 points, 7.1 boards, 2.5 threes, 2.0 assists and 2.0 blocks over that stretch while shooting 52.1 percent from the floor and 46.7 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Taj Gibson PF | MEM

Pistons' Taj Gibson: Joins Pistons on 10-day deal

Gibson agreed to a 10-day contract with the Pistons on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

The Pistons are healthy in the frontcourt at the moment, so Gibson may not be a regular part of head coach Monty Williams' rotation and may be joining Detroit primarily to serve in a mentorship role for the team's young big men. Gibson has previously made 16 appearances for the Knicks this season, averaging 1.0 points and 1.8 rebounds in 10.3 minutes per contest.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Logs 25/16 double-double in loss

Jokic supplied 25 points (8-18 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 16 rebounds and five assists in 44 minutes during Tuesday's 117-107 overtime loss to the Suns.

Jokic's go-ahead floater at the end of regulation seemed destined to drop, but it bounced off instead, sending the game to overtime. It would have been a dramatic win for the Nuggets, who battled back into contention after being down as much as 22 points after halftime. Jokic extended his recent seven-game double-double streak to eight, and he's recorded four triple-doubles during that stretch.
