  • Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Double-double in Wednesday's win

Vucevic notched 22 points (10-22 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 117-110 win over Charlotte.

It was Vucevic's 25th double-double of the season in 44 games. The veteran center has been his usual productive self since returning from a groin injury that sidelined him in late December and early January, and over the last 12 contests he's averaged 18.2 points, 11.3 boards, 3.8 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.1 threes while shooting 52.9 percent from the floor.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Posts another double-double

Allen finished Wednesday's 128-121 win over Detroit with 14 points (7-10 FG), 11 rebounds, one block and one steal over 30 minutes.

Allen powered through an illness and had the tough task of dealing with Jalen Duren on both ends of the court, but he managed to deliver another double-double. It was his 16th consecutive game reaching that tally, and he's among the league leaders in that department with 21 double-doubles across 40 appearances this season. He should have a decent shot at keeping that streak alive against the Grizzlies on Thursday.

  • Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns: Leads team in near double-double

Towns finished with 29 points (11-15 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-5 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 121-87 victory over the Mavericks.

Towns led all players in Wednesday's contest in scoring while leading the Timberwolves in threes made and ending one rebound short of a double-double in another strong performance. Towns has buried four or more threes in nine games this year, having scored 25 or more points in four of his last six games while hauling in at least eight boards in three of his last four appearances.

  • Jalen Duren C | DET

    Pistons' Jalen Duren: Nears double-double

Duren provided 10 points (5-9 FG) and nine rebounds in 30 minutes during Wednesday's 128-121 loss to the Cavaliers.

Duren didn't have his best shooting performance, at least by his standards, as he's making 64 percent of his shots from the field this season, but he still posted a decent stat line, ending just one rebound away from a double-double. Duren was unable to repeat the massive stat line he delivered against the Thunder in his previous game, but the second-year big man is a double-double threat every time he steps on the court. He's notched 23 double-doubles in 2023-24.

  • Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton: Records double-double in win

Ayton provided 20 points (10-17 FG), 11 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 119-116 victory over Milwaukee.

Ayton had a productive night against the Bucks. Although both teams ended up with 39 rebounds each, Brook Lopez was out-rebounded 11-4 by Ayton, who has recorded a double-double in four of his last five games.

  • Chet Holmgren PF | OKC

Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Improved performance in win

Holmgren ended Wednesday's 105-100 victory over the Nuggets with 18 points (7-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists and five blocks over 32 minutes.

Despite coming into the game under an injury cloud, Holmgren turned in an improved performance, helping the Thunder to a narrow victory. After a red-hot start to his rookie campaign, things have slowed over the past month. During that time, he has been outside the top 50 in standard leagues, averaging 14.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.4 three-pointers.

  • Pelicans' Jonas Valanciunas: Double-doubles in win

Valanciunas supplied 25 points (10-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-9 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists and one block in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 110-99 victory over the Rockets.

Valanciunas scored at least 20 points for the first time in the past three weeks, taking advantage of the fact Zion Williamson (foot) was on the sideline. Prior to Wednesday, he had been putting up serviceable numbers, sitting just inside the top 120 over the past two weeks. He remains a must-roster player but managers should temper their expectations when the Pelicans are healthy.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Snaps scoring slump Wednesday

Nurkic registered 28 points (11-15 FG, 6-9 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal in 30 minutes during Wednesday's 136-120 win over the Nets.

Nurkic entered the contest in the midst of a downturn offensively, as he had failed to top eight points over his previous eight games. However, the big man took advantage of an undersized Brooklyn squad Wednesday, finishing with 28 efficient points for his second-highest scoring total of the campaign. In addition, Nurkic's 11 boards led all players in the contest and were part of his 15th double-double of the season.

  • Mike Muscala C | OKC

Pistons' Mike Muscala: Won't return Wednesday

Muscala has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers with a head injury, Johnny Kane of Bally Sports reports. He'll finish the game with three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one rebound over four minutes.

With Isaiah Stewart (ankle) ruled out for Wednesday's game, Muscala drew the start at power forward, even though he's played primarily as a center between his stops with Detroit and Washington this season. Muscala's night ended up being cut short, however, after he appeared to be hit in the head during the first quarter. He'll presumably be checked for a concussion, and if he's diagnosed with a brain injury, Muscala would most likely miss the Pistons' next game Friday versus the Clippers. With Muscala sidelined for the rest of Wednesday's contest, teh Pistons will likely lean on Danilo Gallinari, Ausar Thompson and Kevin Knox to fill most of the minutes at power forward.

  • Mavericks' Richaun Holmes: Gets starting nod

Holmes is in the starting five for Wednesday's game versus the Timberwolves.

Holmes will replace Dereck Lively (nose) in the starting lineup Wednesday. Holmes recorded five rebounds, two blocks and one assist in 21 minutes during his only other start of the season.
