  • Naz Reid C | MIN

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Exits with injury

Reid went to the locker room during the first quarter of Saturday's game against the Spurs with an undisclosed injury, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.

Reid checked out at the 6:58 mark and immediately went to the locker room. The nature of his injury is unclear at this time, and he can be considered questionable to return until further notice. Rudy Gobert (hip) is out, so it would be up to Joan Beringer to step up if Reid is done for the night.

  • Hornets' Ryan Kalkbrenner: Steps into starting role

Kalkbrenner will start Saturday's game against the Warriors.

Kalkbrenner will draw the start after the team downgraded Moussa Diabate (hamstring) to out. Kalkbrenner has plenty of experience as a starter so far this season and is averaging 7.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.5 blocks in his last six appearances with the first unit.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Out again Sunday

Poeltl (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Lakers, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.

Poeltl continues to miss time due to a back strain. His next chance at a return will arrive Tuesday at Golden State. Collin Murray-Boyles should draw another start at center Sunday as a result.

  • Naz Reid C | MIN

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Running with starters

Reid is starting Saturday's game against the Spurs.

Reid will step into the starting lineup after Rudy Gobert was ruled out due to a bruised hip. This will mark Reid's second start of the season, with his first taking place Tuesday against the Bucks (19 points in 28 minutes).

  • Rudy Gobert C | MIN

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Won't go Saturday

Gobert (hip) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Spurs.

Gobert was added to the injury report earlier in the day due to a bruised left hip, and he's since been downgraded to out. This should open up more minutes for Naz Reid and Joan Beringer in the frontcourt.

  • Paul Reed C | DET

Pistons' Paul Reed: Available to play

Reed (personal) is available for Saturday's game versus the Pacers.

Reed missed Thursday's win over the Suns for personal reasons, but he's returned to the team and will be available for Saturday's game. However, with Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart healthy again, Reed will have a tough time getting into the rotation.

  • Yang Hansen C | POR

Trail Blazers' Yang Hansen: Returns to NBA club

Portland recalled Hansen from the G League's Rip City Remix on Saturday.

Hansen will be available to play Saturday against the Lakers after being recalled. He last appeared for the Blazers on Tuesday, logging three points and two rebounds in 13 minutes.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Available Saturday

Jackson (concussion) is available for Saturday's game against the Pistons, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.

Jackson missed Indiana's last 13 games due to a concussion, though he'll return to action in the second leg of this back-to-back set. The big man averaged 5.0 points and 6.1 rebounds across 15.1 minutes per tilt over nine outings in December, and he'll likely compete for playing time with Tony Bradley and Micah Potter behind Jay Huff.

  • Celtics' Chris Boucher: Late scratch Saturday

Boucher has been ruled out of Saturday's game against the Hawks due to low back spasms, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

Boucher is currently buried on the depth chart, so his absence shouldn't impact Boston's rotation. His next chance to play will arrive Monday in Detroit.

  • Jaxson Hayes C | LAL

Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: Won't play Saturday

Hayes (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Portland.

Hayes will miss his third consecutive matchup due to left hamstring tendinopathy. Maxi Kleber and Drew Timme should be in line once again for more run, especially if Deandre Ayton (knee), who is currently questionably, isn't able to suit up.
