  • Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton: Unlikely to suit up for Wednesday

Ayton (finger) is listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

Ayton is in danger of missing his fourth consecutive game due to a right finger sprain. The big man is still considered day-to-day while managing the injury, though if he is unable to return Wednesday, Donovan Clingan and Robert Williams are both candidates for an uptick in playing time.

  • Zach Edey C | MEM

    Grizzlies' Zach Edey: Deemed week-to-week

Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins said Tuesday that imaging on Edey's sprained left ankle was promising, but the rookie center is still being viewed as week-to-week, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.

The rookie big man sprained his ankle during the third quarter of Sunday's win over the Nuggets, and he looks set to miss at least all three of the team's games this week while he recovers from the injury. Edey has turned in a promising start to his rookie campaign, averaging 11.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 0.9 steals across 20.1 minutes in 14 outings. While Edey is sidelined, Brandon Clarke and Jay Huff will likely cover most of the minutes at center.

  • Magic's Wendell Carter: Questionable for Wednesday

Carter (foot) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Dan Savage of the Magic's official site reports.

Carter practiced Tuesday and appears close to making his return to game action. He's missed eight straight and nine of the last 10, so even if he gets the green light Wednesday, he'll presumably face heavy restrictions.

  • Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Confirmed out for Tuesday

Wembanyama (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Thunder, independent NBA writer Matthew Tynan reports.

This is an expected update after the Spurs downgraded Wembanyama to doubtful on their injury report Monday. With Wembanyama sidelined, it's likely that Zach Collins will remain in the starting lineup. Collins finished with 20 points, six rebounds, three blocks and one steal in 26 minutes against the Mavericks on Saturday.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Listed out for Tuesday

Jokic (personal) is listed as out for Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies.

Jokic will miss his third straight game for personal reasons, and it remains unclear when he'll be back with the team. For now, fantasy managers should consider him questionable for Friday's game against Dallas. Dario Saric is likely to remain in the starting lineup in the meantime.

  • Warriors' Trayce Jackson-Davis: Scores eight points

Jackson-Davis totaled eight points (4-5 FG, 0-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 20 minutes during Monday's 102-99 loss to the Clippers.

This was a solid performance by Jackson-Davis, but his workloads continue to be minimal at best. Through 13 games, he's getting an average of 16.8 minutes per night. His per-minute upside is strong, so fantasy managers will want to watch his role closely.

  • Ivica Zubac C | LAC

Clippers' Ivica Zubac: Pulls down 17 boards Monday

Zubac recorded eight points (3-8 FG, 2-2 FT), 17 rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals across 36 minutes during Monday's 102-99 win over the Warriors.

Zubac didn't look at his best when shooting the rock, but the big man was impressive as a rebounder and dominated the glass on the defensive end. This was Zubac's third straight game and sixth in his last seventh with at least 10 rebounds. He's averaging 12.4 boards and 15.3 points per game this season.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Continues dominant stretch

Poeltl produced 30 points (13-18 FG, 4-6 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals across 38 minutes during Monday's 130-119 victory over Indiana.

It wouldn't be a stretch to say Poeltl has been one of the best big men in The Association over the last two weeks, and his numbers back that up. The veteran has four double-doubles in his past five appearances, reaching the 30-point mark in his past two. During that five-game stretch dating back to Nov. 10, Poeltl is averaging 23.4 points, 12.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.4 blocks per game while shooting 65.9 percent from the floor.

  • Bam Adebayo C | MIA

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Mixed bag Monday

Adebayo finished Monday's 106-89 victory over the 76ers with five points (2-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt), 13 rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals over 32 minutes.

The veteran center led all rebounders on the night, and the 13 boards were one short of Adebayo's season high. The five points were also a season low, however, as the Heat's other stars deferred to a returning Jimmy Butler. Through 13 contests, Adebayo is averaging 16.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.8 steals, 1.2 blocks and a surprising 0.8 threes on 31.3 percent shooting from long distance. The extra volume from beyond the arc is cutting into his field-goal percentage, which sits at a career-low 42.6 percent, but most of that decline is due to tough luck on short-range attempts that should improve as the season progresses.

  • Wizards' Jonas Valanciunas: Produces off bench Monday

Valanciunas notched 18 points (8-11 FG, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 18 minutes during Monday's 134-106 loss to the Knicks.

Alex Sarr continues to struggle on offense, but since the Wizards are going through a rebuilding process, there's not a realistic scenario in which Valanciunas will replace Sarr at center any time soon. The veteran big man is averaging 11.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 blocks per game in his last six outings off the bench.
