  • Hornets' Ryan Kalkbrenner: Blocks three shots in win

Kalkbrenner recorded seven points (2-2 FG, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and three blocks in 30 minutes during Friday's 123-116 win over the Bulls.

Kalkbrenner got back to doing what he does best, scoring efficiently and blocking shots. After a strong start to his rookie season, Kalkbrenner had been in somewhat of a slump of late, failing to record a block in three straight appearances. Perhaps what was even more encouraging here was the fact that he logged 30 minutes for the first time in his past nine games.

  • Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Headed to bench

Gafford will come off the bench for Friday's game against the Lakers.

The Mavericks will go with a starting frontcourt featuring Anthony Davis and P.J. Washington on Friday night, so Gafford will be operating as Davis' backup. However, with Davis set to be confined to 24-27 minutes in his first game back, Gafford should still see quality minutes in the reserve role.

  • Jaxson Hayes C | LAL

Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: Moves back to bench

Hayes isn't part of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Mavericks, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.

Hayes made a spot start Tuesday, but he'll return to the second unit for Friday's matchup against Dallas, with Deandre Ayton returning to action following a one-game absence. The center logged eight points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block over 30 minutes during the start.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Won't return Friday

Drummond will not return to Friday's game against the Nets due to a right knee sprain, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports.

Drummond landed awkwardly on his right knee after contesting a shot, and he went down right away. He was unable to put any weight on his right leg as he was helped off the court, so it's not surprising to see him ruled out for the remainder of the game. For now, Drummond should be considered doubtful for Sunday's game against the Hawks.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Exits game with right leg injury

Drummond exited Friday's game against the Nets with an apparent right leg injury, Erin Grugan of SBNation reports.

Drummond was in a great deal of pain as he was helped off the court, and he was unable to put any weight on his right leg, so he should be considered doubtful to return. Adem Bona and Dominick Barlow will see a boost if Drummond needs to miss some games moving forward.

  • Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Back in starting lineup

Okongwu is in the Hawks' starting lineup against the Cavaliers on Friday, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.

Okongwu will make his eighth start of the season Friday due to the absence of Kristaps Porzingis (illness). Okongwu has been productive both as a starter and off the bench this season, and in 12 games since Nov. 2, he has averaged 17.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.3 threes, 0.9 blocks and 0.9 steals over 28.7 minutes per contest.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Coming off bench Friday

Jackson is not in the Pacers' starting lineup against the Wizards on Friday.

Jackson has started in each of Indiana's last five games, though he's averaged just 7.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.8 blocks over 21.0 minutes per game over that span. The fifth-year center will come off the bench Friday while Jay Huff enters the Pacers' starting five.

  • Jay Huff C | IND

Pacers' Jay Huff: Entering starting five

Huff is in the Pacers' starting lineup against the Wizards on Friday.

Huff will make his third start of the regular season Friday while Isaiah Jackson downgrades to a rotational role off the bench. Huff has scored in double digits in three of his last four outings, and over that span, he has averaged 11.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 3.0 blocks and 2.0 threes over 24.8 minutes per game.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Will play Friday

Allen (finger) is good to go for Friday's game in Atlanta, Ethan Sands of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Allen is back after a three-game stint on the sidelines, which should result in Larry Nance returning to the second unit, and Nae'Qwan Tomlin's minutes will dip. Thomas Bryant could drop from the rotation entirely with Allen available.

  • Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Will play vs. Hornets

Vucevic (knee) will play in Friday's game against the Hornets, Joel Lorenzi of The Athletic reports.

Vucevic is returning from a one-game absence with a knee injury. The star big man also has a short turnaround Saturday in Indiana, making it possible he'll reappear on the injury report ahead of that game. Vucevic averaged 16.7 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 30.6 minutes per tilt in 16 games this season.
