  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Set to return Saturday

Sarr (toe) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against the Bulls.

A left toe injury sidelined Sarr for the Wizards' last two games, but the 2024 No. 2 overall pick has been cleared to play in Saturday's road contest. Sarr's return means Tristan Vukcevic will likely revert to a bench role, though the latter could still see meaningful minutes due to the absence of Marvin Bagley (hip). In his eight games before the toe injury, Sarr averaged 18.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.3 blocks over 29.9 minutes per game while shooting 50.8 percent from the field.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Progressing in recovery

Embiid continues to progress in his recovery from a right knee injury and remains day-to-day, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Embiid has missed the 76ers' last six games due to right knee soreness. It seems like he's inching closer to a return, though it doesn't appear likely that will take place Sunday against the Heat. With Embiid and Adem Bona (ankle) both likely sidelined, Andre Drummond, Trendon Watford and Dominick Barlow will continue to see the majority of minutes at the center position.

  • Kel'el Ware C | MIA

Heat's Kel'el Ware: Scores season high in double-double

Ware registered 20 points (8-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 14 rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in 28 minutes during Friday's 143-107 victory over the Bulls.

Ware moved to the starting lineup due to the absence of Andrew Wiggins (hip) and formed a dominant frontcourt pairing with Bam Adebayo. This was the second-year big man's fifth double-double over his last six games, averaging 14.5 points and 14.5 boards per game in that stretch. The 20-point output was also a season-high mark for Ware.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Makes second straight start

Adams logged five points (2-2 FG, 1-3 FT), eight rebounds and two assists across 23 minutes during Friday's 112-109 loss to Denver.

The Rockets started Adams and Alperen Sengun together for a second straight game, but with the offense struggling in the first half, Reed Sheppard was with the first five to begin the second half. Adams remains one of the best per-minute rebounders in the league, but he's played more than 30 minutes only one time this season, which came during Houston's double-overtime loss to the Thunder on Opening Night.

  • Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Returns after one-game absence

Filipowski closed with 18 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 26 minutes during Friday's 144-112 loss to the Thunder.

Filpowski was able to play through the wrist injury that held him out of Tuesday's loss to the Lakers, and he provided dependable interior support for Lauri Markkanen and Jusuf Nurkic in the loss. Most of Filipowski's production came during garbage time in the fourth quarter, when he accrued seven points, a rebound and an assist. Kevin Love was on fire during the first quarter with the second unit, which is one reason why it took a little while for Filipowski to get his opportunities.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Logs season-high 21 minutes

Williams notched eight points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 11 rebounds, two assists and three blocks in 21 minutes during Friday's 127-123 victory over the Warriors.

Williams played the entire final quarter, ending with a season-high 21 minutes. It was by far his best performance of the season, and an encouraging sign for anyone rostering him in deeper formats. It was curious that he played over Donovan Clingan down the stretch, given Clingan was in the midst of a career-high scoring night. Obviously, we would need to see sustained production before considering Williams an add in standard leagues.

  • Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Strong double-double in win

Clingan chipped in 22 points (9-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals across 27 minutes during Friday's 127-123 win over the Warriors.

Clingan scored a career-high 22 points, recording his third double-double in the past four games. While this was another strong performance, it should be noted that he didn't play a single second in the final quarter, despite his career night. Managers should be thrilled with his recent production but cautious when it comes to his ceiling.

  • Clint Capela C | HOU

Rockets' Clint Capela: Fails to score in four minutes

Capela had zero points (0-2 FG) and one steal in four minutes during Friday's 112-109 loss to the Nuggets.

Capela has been nothing more than an afterthought thus far this season, playing as the third-string center behind Alperen Sengun and Steven Adams. In 13 appearances, Capela is averaging 3.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 9.7 minutes per game.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Warriors' Al Horford: Dealing with undisclosed injury

Horford was not available for the fourth quarter of Friday's 127-123 loss to the Trail Blazers due to an undisclosed injury, Danny Emerman of SFStandard.com reports.

Horford ended his evening with seven points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and one turnover across 18 minutes. The Warriors are off until Monday, so we likely won't get another update on Horford until Sunday's injury report is released.

  • Suns' Mark Williams: Scores 19 points with eight boards

Williams notched 19 points (6-9 FG, 7-8 FT), eight rebounds, one steal, one block and one turnover in 26 minutes during Friday's 114-113 win over the Timberwolves.

Williams is quietly having a top-60 season with averages of 12.2 points on 63.2 percent shooting from the floor and 78.7 percent at the line to go with 8.1 rebounds, 1.3 steals, 0.9 blocks and just 0.9 turnovers per contest. If he can just manage to stay healthy this season, he could be on a lot of winning fantasy teams.
