  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Records triple-double in OT loss

Jokic produced 21 points (8-23 FG, 2-13 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 13 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and one steal in 41 minutes during Thursday's 137-131 overtime loss to the Warriors.

Jokic looked on as teammate Aaron Gordon dropped a stellar 50 points during the OT defeat, but Jokic still propped up the squad with one of his usual triple-doubles in the opener. Although Jokic can carry a team on his own, his job is much easier when role players like Gordon put in solid performances.

  • Jay Huff C | IND

Pacers' Jay Huff: Only 12 minutes Thursday

Huff had five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds and two blocks over 12 minutes during Thursday's 141-135 double-overtime loss to the Thunder.

Huff came off the bench and played just 12 minutes despite the fact that Isaiah Jackson played just eight minutes as the starter. The Pacers went with a mobile frontcourt in this one, with Obi Toppin logging a whopping 40 minutes. Both Huff and Jackson are trending in the wrong direction, although Huff is worth monitoring just in case this was an outlier.

  • Pacers' Isaiah Jackson: Barely touches floor in loss

Jackson finished with zero points (0-2 FG) and one rebound over eight minutes during Thursday's 141-135 double-overtime loss to Oklahoma City.

Despite starting, Jackson managed just eight minutes, a worrying sign for anyone who took a chance on him in drafts. His preseason was far from convincing, and it appears the coaching staff has some reservations when it comes to his role. He is worth holding for at least a few games just to see whether this was simply a case of foul trouble.

  • Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Grabs 14 boards in 2OT win

Hartenstein posted five points (2-4 FG, 1-3 FT), 14 rebounds and two assists in 37 minutes during Thursday's 141-135 double-overtime win over the Pacers.

Hartenstein pulled down a team-high 14 rebounds, impacting the game despite scoring just four points. The Thunder certainly have a lot of options when it comes to scoring the basketball, a fact that should be considered when analyzing Hartenstein's overall fantasy value. He should be rostered in all formats but has particular value in punt-points builds.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Iffy for Friday

Sabonis (hamstring) is questionable for Friday's game against the Jazz.

After missing the season opener due to a hamstring injury, Sabonis appears to be trending in the right direction to make his return to the floor. Hamstring injuries can be tricky, so this is a good sign from a fantasy perspective that the veteran big man won't be out for long.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Declared out vs. Golden State

Williams (knee) is out for Friday's game against Golden State.

Williams will sit out of Friday's matchup while continuing to rehab from arthroscopic knee surgery. His next opportunity to take the court will arrive Sunday against the Clippers.

  • Moe Wagner C | ORL

Magic's Moritz Wagner: Not ready for season debut

Wagner (knee) is out for Friday's game against Atlanta.

Wagner is still rehabbing from a torn left ACL, giving him no definitive timetable for his season debut. Goga Bitadze will have the backup center gig all to himself while Wagner is on the shelf.

  • Knicks' Mitchell Robinson: Won't play vs. Boston

Robinson (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Celtics.

Robinson won't make his season debut, as he's set to miss a second straight game while being load-managed. Ariel Hukporti and Guerschon Yabusele will continue to shoulder the load at the center position.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Iffy for Friday

Towns (quadriceps) is questionable to play in Friday's game against the Celtics.

Towns is dealing with a Grade 2 quadriceps strain, which he played through in the season opener, where he dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. If he's unable to play, the team will likely pivot to Guerschon Yabusele to pick up the slack in the frontcourt.

  • Celtics' Xavier Tillman: Plays 16 minutes in opener

Tillman closed Wednesday's 117-116 loss to the 76ers with four points (2-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt), seven rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in 16 minutes.

Tillman's 16 minutes of run could be used as Exhibit A to demonstrate the talent difference between last year's top-notch Celtics squad and this year's team. Tillman averaged only seven minutes per contest last season, though he was battling knee issues. Neemias Queta started at center for Boston, but was quickly pulled by Coach Mazzulla after Queta allowed Philly to grab an offensive rebound. Tillman then provided some much-needed rebounding, but struggled offensively. Expect Boston to experiment with different frontcourt lineups throughout the season.
