  • Myles Turner C | MIL

Bucks' Myles Turner: Busy in Bucks debut

Turner produced 11 points (4-12 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and three blocks across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 133-120 victory over the Wizards.

Turner may not have been efficient shooting the ball, but he made a big impact as a facilitator and defender in his Bucks debut. Each of Milwaukee's starters had their minutes slightly reduced while the team nursed a late double-digit lead, so Turner could have some room for growth in minutes going forward.

  • Jalen Duren C | DET

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Efficient in limited playing time

Duren recorded 15 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 20 minutes during Wednesday's 115-111 loss to the Bulls.

It was interesting to see Duren play fewer minutes than Isaiah Stewart, who double-doubled in 25 minutes off the bench. It's worth noting, however, that Duren was limited by hamstring tightness during training camp, which may have prompted the Pistons to keep an eye on his workload Wednesday. Fantasy managers should expect the 2022 first-rounder's playing time to rise as he becomes further removed from the hamstring problem.

  • Kel'el Ware C | MIA

Heat's Kel'el Ware: Eased back into action Wednesday

Ware (neck/ankle) racked up seven points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), four rebounds, one block and one steal over 14 minutes during Wednesday's 125-121 loss to Orlando.

While Ware was able to play through neck spasms and an ankle sprain, the Heat decided to ease him back into the lineup by deploying him from the bench. Nikola Jovic started at power forward in his place, but the former scored just nine points in 23 minutes of action. Ware was a popular breakout candidate for 2025-26 after a strong rookie campaign, and it shouldn't be long before he supplants Jovic in Miami's first unit.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Warriors' Al Horford: Bench role Thursday

Horford will come off the bench during Thursday's game against the Nuggets, Danny Emerman of SFStandard.com reports.

Horford played 20 minutes in his debut with his new squad against the Lakers on Tuesday. Head coach Steve Kerr wants to keep the veteran big man playing with that minutes cap moving forward, and Horford is expected to sit out at least one game during back-to-back sets, starting with Friday's matchup in Portland.

  • Yves Missi C | NO

Pelicans' Yves Missi: Questionable for Friday

Missi (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against the Spurs, Will Guillory of The Athletic reports.

Missi rolled his right ankle late in Wednesday's 128-122 loss to Memphis, and he may not be cleared to suit up Friday. With Kevon Looney already out with a knee injury, Derik Queen and Saddiq Bey would likely see more playing time in the frontcourt if Missi is also sidelined.

  • Goga Bitadze C | ORL

Magic's Goga Bitadze: Fills stat sheet in win

Bitadze scored eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 FT, 0-1 3Pt), eight rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block across 18 minutes in Wednesday's 125-121 win over Miami.

Bitadze performed well in limited playing time, flirting with a double-double while backing up Wendell Carter. While Bitadze's role will be uncertain once Moritz Wagner (knee) returns, these types of performances should keep Bitadze on fantasy managers' radar in the meantime.

  • Magic's Wendell Carter: Nears double-double in win

Carter posted nine points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block over 30 minutes in Wednesday's 125-121 victory over Miami.

Carter led the team with five offensive rebounds and played 11 more minutes than fellow big man Goga Bitadze. Once Moritz Wagner (knee) returns, however, there is no guarantee that Carter will retain this kind of usage, but in the meantime, Carter provides value that fantasy managers should monitor moving forward.

  • Kings' Dylan Cardwell: Sees 15 minutes in loss

Cardwell ended Wednesday's 120-116 loss to the Suns with three points (1-4 FG, 1-2 FT), one rebound, two blocks and one steal over 15 minutes.

With Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) sidelined, Cardwell got the opportunity to make his official NBA debut. Cardwell, who is on a two-way contract, was a solid rim protector at Auburn with 1.4 blocks in 20.3 minutes per contest. Sabonis is expected to be re-evaluated after Friday's game against the Jazz, so Cardwell may get another look at the back end of the rotation.

  • Drew Eubanks C | SAC

Kings' Drew Eubanks: Swats four shots

Eubanks finished Wednesday's 120-116 loss to Phoenix with four points (1-4 FG, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, four blocks and two steals in 22 minutes.

Eubanks started this game at center with Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) on the shelf. Sabonis is scheduled to be re-evaluated after Friday's game against the Jazz, so Eubanks is likely to have at least one more game of streaming appeal as a source of rebounds and blocks. He's unlikely to have much value once Sabonis returns, to be clear.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Quiet in season opener

Allen dropped four points (1-4 FG, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, two steals and an assist over 28 minutes in Wednesday's 119-111 loss to the Knicks.

Allen only attempted four shots Wednesday, which only occurred nine times during the 2024-25 season. He also shoots 71.1 percent from the free-throw line and 64.1 percent from the field in his career, so expect his numbers to trend towards those lines and look less like Wednesday's stat line as the season progresses. The Cavs' starting center will look to get right Friday against the Nets.
