  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Double-doubles in win

Embiid produced 26 points (8-20 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-9 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Thursday's 124-117 win over the Heat.

Embiid got kneed in the ribs early in the game, and while he played through it, he could be seen grimacing throughout the match. The good news is that the 76ers don't play again until Sunday versus the Celtics, so Embiid will have a full two days to rest up. However, if the big man does need to hit the sidelines Sunday, that would give Andre Drummond a chance to get back into the rotation.

  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

    Wizards' Alex Sarr: Considered week-to-week

Sarr (hamstring) is being considered week-to-week, Wizards' sideline reporter Meghan McPeak reports.

Sarr hasn't take the court since Feb. 8 due to a right hamstring strain, and this update indicates that he'll miss at least three additional matchups. Tristan Vukcevic should continue to see starts at center until Sarr is ready to return.

  • Mavericks' Marvin Bagley: Entering starting five

Bagley is starting Thursday's game against the Kings, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.

Bagley will step into the starting five with both Daniel Gafford (ankle) and P.J. Washington (ankle) unavailable. Bagley's last start dates back to Feb. 1 against the Kings, when he tallied 15 points, six rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 19 minutes.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

    76ers' Joel Embiid: Returns Thursday

Embiid (ribs) has returned to Thursday's game against the Heat, per the broadcast.

Embiid took a shot to the ribs and required a quick trip to the locker room, but he's since returned to the game. It appears he's fine.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Heads to locker room

Embiid went to the locker room during the second quarter of Thursday's game against the Heat due to an apparent rib injury, Dave Uram of KYW Newsradio reports.

Embiid looked to take a knee to the ribs while attacking the basket and was in obvious pain well after the contact. He can be considered questionable to return until the team provides an update on his status.

  • Jaxson Hayes C | LAL

Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: Good to go Thursday

Hayes (ankle) is available for Thursday's game against the Suns, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.

Hayes didn't play in the Lakers' loss to the Magic on Tuesday due to a right ankle sprain, but he has been cleared to play in Thursday's contest and will serve as the top big man off the bench behind Deandre Ayton. Hayes has averaged 8.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists over 16.0 minutes per game since Feb. 1.

  • Yang Hansen C | POR

Trail Blazers' Yang Hansen: Cleared to play Thursday

Hansen (back) is available for Thursday's game against the Bulls.

Hansen popped up on the Blazers' injury report Wednesday due to mid-back soreness, but the rookie first-rounder has been given the green light to play Thursday. Donovan Clingan (illness) won't play, so Hansen and Robert Williams are slated for elevated roles in Clingan's absence.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Good to go Thursday

Williams (foot) is available for Thursday's game against the Bulls.

Williams was added to the injury report as questionable due to a sore foot, but the issue won't prevent him from taking the court. Donovan Clingan (illness) has been downgraded to out, so there should be plenty of opportunities for Williams to step up Thursday evening.

  • Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Not playing Thursday

Clingan (illness) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Bulls.

Clingan was added to Thursday afternoon's injury report due to an illness, which is severe enough for the second-year center to be sidelined against Chicago. Robert Williams (foot) and Yang Hansen (back) have both been cleared to play and should see more minutes off the bench while Scoot Henderson enters the starting lineup. Saturday against the Hornets is Clingan's next chance to play.

  • Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Ruled out Thursday

Gafford is out for Thursday's game against the Kings due to right ankle injury management, per Ron Harrod Jr. of DLLS Sports.

It's possible the Mavericks have an eye toward Gafford suiting up Friday against Memphis. Marvin Bagley is the most likely candidate to replace Gafford in the starting lineup and makes sense as a plug-and-play fantasy option Thursday.
