  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Splendiferous performance Wednesday

Jokic amassed 42 points (15-29 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 10-13 FT), 22 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal across 42 minutes during Monday's 121-119 victory over the Thunder in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Jokic was unstoppable as the Nuggets stole homecourt advantage, continuing what has been another memorable postseason. The 22 rebounds matched his season high, while he also scored at least 40 points for the 10th time this season. It's hard to put into words just how impactful Jokic is on both ends of the floor. The two teams will meet again Wednesday, when Jokic and the Nuggets will be looking to ambush the Thunder once again.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Celtics' Al Horford: Quiet despite increased role

Horford closed Monday's 108-105 overtime loss to the Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with seven points (2-6 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and one block over 34 minutes.

Horford shifted into a larger role after Kristaps Porzingis was ruled out after just 13 minutes due to an illness. Now at the back end of his career, Horford was unable to take advantage of the promotion. While he can still be a meaningful contributor, the Celtics will be sweating on the health of Porzingis heading into Game 2.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Limited in Game 1 win

Towns accumulated 14 points (6-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds and one steal in 31 minutes during Monday's 108-105 overtime victory over the Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Towns picked up three early fouls, limiting him to just 31 minutes. Although he still managed to record a double-double, it was by no means a dominant performance. Foul issues have been an ongoing theme for Towns this season, something he will have to keep in check to ensure he can play a sizeable role in the series.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Doesn't return in Game 1

Porzingis (illness) didn't return during Monday's 108-105 overtime loss to the Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. He supplied zero points (0-4 FG), four rebounds and one assist across 13 minutes.

Porzingis didn't start the third quarter after playing 13 minutes in the first half. The star big man was deemed questionable to return due to the non-COVID illness, and his status will be something to monitor ahead of Wednesday's Game 2 in Boston. If Porzingis is unable to suit up Wednesday, Al Horford and Luke Kornet are candidates for an uptick in playing time.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Questionable to return Monday

Porzingis is questionable to return during Monday's Game 1 against the Knicks due to an illness, Jay King of The Athletic reports.

Porzingis managed to play 13 minutes in the first half, though he didn't start the second after leaving for the locker room during his halftime warmup. If the big man is unable to return, Al Horford and Luke Kornet are candidates for an uptick in playing time the rest of the way.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Celtics' Al Horford: Reverting back to bench Monday

Horford won't start in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference second-round series against the Knicks on Monday.

The veteran big man will retreat to the second unit due to Jrue Holiday (hamstring) returning from a three-game absence. Horford averaged 7.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.8 blocks across 32.0 minutes per game in five outings (four starts) during the club's first-round series win over the Magic.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Struggles in Game 7

Adams ended with three points (1-4 FG, 1-2 FT) and seven rebounds over 26 minutes during Sunday's 103-89 loss to the Warriors in Game 7 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Adams had a strong series overall, but couldn't make a significant impact Sunday with the Rockets attempting to utilize a frontcourt-heavy rotation. Adams was used sparingly in the regular season, playing an average of 13.7 minutes per night in 58 appearances with 3.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists. Adams is likely to generate considerable interest from contending teams as a free agent this offseason.

  • Myles Turner C | MIL

Pacers' Myles Turner: Double-double with two blocks

Turner totaled 13 points (5-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and three steals across 33 minutes during Sunday's 121-112 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Turner was fantastic on both ends of the floor, despite scoring just 13 points. He and Tyrese Haliburton combined for nine defensive counters, paving the way for what some might consider an improbable victory over the favored Cavaliers. The two teams will meet Tuesday for Game 2, when the Pacers will have an opportunity to take a stranglehold on the series.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Double-doubles in Game 7 loss

Sengun racked up 21 points (9-23 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 14 rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal over 40 minutes during Sunday's 103-89 loss to the Warriors in Game 7 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Sengun recorded his fifth double-double of this first-round series Sunday. The All-Star center was one of only three players on the Rockets to score in double figures, as Amen Thompson (24) and Fred VanVleet (17) were the only others to make an impact in the scoring department. The rising star's season ends after an impressive playoff performance over seven games, averaging 20.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 2.0 steals per game, while shooting 46.3 percent from the field.

  • Drew Eubanks C | SAC

Clippers' Drew Eubanks: Sees action in Game 7 loss

Eubanks totaled one point (0-1 FG, 1-2 FT) across seven minutes during Saturday's 120-101 loss to the Nuggets in Game 7 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Eubanks made his third appearance in the club's first-round series loss to the Nuggets on Saturday. He averaged 1.3 points across 4.7 minutes per game in the opening round. The big man was traded from Utah to Los Angeles on Feb. 1, where he saw a significant decline in playing time. Eubanks appeared in 61 regular-season games (four starts) during the 2024-25 campaign, finishing with averages of 4.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 0.6 blocks across 12.2 minutes per game.
