  • Spurs' Charles Bassey: Expected to play Sunday

Bassey (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against the Warriors, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

Bassey is expected to suit up for the first time since Feb. 23. However, it's unclear if he'll see any playing time. Bismack Biyombo had been starting at center but didn't see any playing time Saturday, while Jeremy Sochan and Sandro Mamukelashvili split time at center.

  • Timberwolves' Jesse Edwards: Returning to parent club

The Timberwolves transferred Edwards from the G League's Iowa Wolves on Sunday.

Edwards will rejoin the parent club ahead of Sunday's game against Detroit. The two-way center has spent a majority of the 2024-25 campaign in the G League, and he averaged 11.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocks across 25.1 minutes per game in 34 outings with Iowa this season.

  • Luke Kornet C | SA

Celtics' Luke Kornet: Season-best effort on glass

Kornet logged 15 points (7-10 FG, 1-2 FT), 16 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 31 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 121-111 victory over the Spurs.

The 16 boards were a season high for Kornet, who hadn't pulled down double-digit rebounds in a game since he made a spot start Feb. 8 against the Knicks. The 29-year-old center's role on the second unit makes him an unreliable fantasy option, but he's been a little more consistent of late, scoring in double digits in four of the last seven contests while averaging 8.3 points, 7.3 boards, 1.6 assists and 1.1 blocks in 21.1 minutes and shooting 73.0 percent from the floor.

  • Zach Edey C | MEM

Grizzlies' Zach Edey: Double-doubles in defeat

Edey accumulated 14 points (7-10 FG, 0-2 FT), 11 rebounds, three blocks, two assists and one steal across 26 minutes during Saturday's 134-127 loss to the Lakers.

Edey made his return to the starting five on Saturday, recording his 10th double-double over 59 regular-season appearances. The 23-year-old also tallied a game-high three blocks, marking his fifth outing with multiple swats this month. Over his last five outings (two starts), the rookie first-round pick has averaged 10.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 blocks across 18.4 minutes per contest.

  • Spurs' Bismack Biyombo: Doesn't play Saturday

Biyombo didn't play in Saturday's 121-111 loss to the Celtics.

For the second time in five games, Biyombo didn't see any playing time despite being healthy. Jeremy Sochan started at center in Biyombo's place Saturday. Biyombo could be back in the rotation during Sunday's game against the Magic, as he hasn't missed two consecutive contests since moving into the Spurs' rotation in late February. Over the last 21 games, Biyombo has recorded 18 starts, averaging 5.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.5 steals-plus-blocks in 18.6 minutes per contest.

  • Kel'el Ware C | MIA

    Heat's Kel'el Ware: Records impressive double-double

Ware recorded 13 points (6-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt), 14 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 31 minutes during Saturday's 118-95 victory over the 76ers.

Ware filled the stat sheet admirably and posted an impressive outing, hitting all six of his shots from the field while thriving as a rebounder and rim protector. This was Ware's eighth game with double-digit rebounds and multiple blocks, and it was also his 12th double-double of the campaign. The rookie seems to be adjusting well to playing alongside Bam Adebayo, and he's likely to remain in a starting role in the final weeks of the regular season.

  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Struggles with shot in loss

Sarr finished Saturday's 115-112 loss to the Nets with 12 points (4-12 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 25 minutes.

Neither Sarr nor Jordan Poole posted good numbers in this loss, and Sarr's woes came mainly in the scoring column, as he made just 33.3 percent of his shots while missing all five of his three-pointers. One subpar performance won't affect Sarr's status as one of the best rookies in The Association this season, however, and he should aim to bounce back when the Wizards take on the Heat on Monday, although he'll have a tough matchup against the frontcourt of Kel'el Ware and Bam Adebayo in that contest.

  • Zach Collins C | CHI

Bulls' Zach Collins: Flirts with double-double

Collins racked up 13 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds and two assists over 18 minutes during Saturday's 120-119 loss to Dallas.

Collins scored double-digit points for the second straight game, continuing to play as the primary backup behind Nikola Vucevic. Following an encouraging stretch during which he scored at least 15 points in five consecutive games when Vucevic was injured, Collins has settled into a consistent yet lesser role. Over the past seven games, he is averaging 6.6 points and 4.0 rebounds in 14.0 minutes per game.

  • Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Serviceable numbers Saturday

Davis chipped in 18 points (7-23 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-7 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal in 30 minutes during Saturday's 120-119 win over the Bulls.

Davis continues to work his way back from an adductor injury, logging 30 minutes, the most he has played since getting back on the court. It's been slow-going for Davis, especially on the offensive end of the floor. In three games, he has averaged 15.0 points on 35.3 percent shooting from the floor, adding 6.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks. He doesn't appear to be fully confident, but just the fact that he made it back at all should be seen as a huge positive.

  • Kai Jones C | DAL

Mavericks' Kai Jones: Strong two-way effort

Jones closed Saturday's 120-119 victory over Chicago with 15 points (7-8 FG, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and four steals in 31 minutes.

Jones delivered arguably the best two-way performance of his career, continuing to make a name for himself as the fill-in starter for the Mavericks. While his production has made a lot of people sit up and take notice, there is a chance his run could come to an abrupt end in the near future. Both Daniel Gafford (knee) and Dereck Lively (ankle) could return from their respective injuries at some point soon, meaning Jones could find himself on the outside looking when it comes to consistent center minutes.
