    Edwards was waived by the Timberwolves on Saturday. Edwards signed a new two-way contract with the organization in June but will now have to explore other opportunities. The 25-year-old big man spent most of the 2024-25 campaign with the team's G League affiliate, the Iowa Wolves, during which he averaged 11.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.4 assists across 25.1 minutes per game in 34 outings.
