  • Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Starting Wednesday vs. Washington

Filipowski is in the Jazz's starting lineup against the Wizards on Wednesday.

Filipowski will make his 13th start of the season (and fifth since Feb. 8) due to the absence of Walker Kessler (rest). Filipowski has averaged 15.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists over 24.8 minutes per game over his last five outings.

  • Kai Jones C | DAL

Mavericks' Kai Jones: Not playing Wednesday

Jones is out for Wednesday's game against the Bucks due to a left quadriceps strain.

On the heels of producing 21 points, eight rebounds and one block in 34 minutes during Monday's loss to the Kings, Jones will sit out Wednesday and render Dallas even more shorthanded in the frontcourt. The 2021 first-round pick can be labeled day-to-day ahead of Friday's tilt with Memphis. In Jones' absence against Milwaukee, the Mavericks will likely have to lean on Dwight Powell, Kessler Edwards and Olivier-Maxence Prosper to cover minutes at center. As a two-way player, Jones is eligible to be active in just 11 contests over the remainder of the season, so he'll likely be in store for some occasional games off over the next five weeks regardless of his health.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Hornets' Jusuf Nurkic: Good to go against Minnesota

Nurkic (back) is available for Wednesday's game against Minnesota.

Despite managing back tightness, Nurkic is good to go Wednesday. The veteran big man should operate as Mark Williams' top backup at center against the Timberwolves. Nurkic has averaged 7.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks in 18.9 minutes over five games following the All-Star break.

  • Taj Gibson PF | MEM

    Hornets' Taj Gibson: Available Wednesday

Gibson (illness) is available for Wednesday's game against Minnesota.

After missing Monday's loss to Golden State due to an illness, the veteran big man will be available off the bench Wednesday. With Mark Williams, Jusuf Nurkic (back) and Moussa Diabate all active against the Timberwolves, however, Gibson is not guaranteed to see the court.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Ruled out Wednesday

Porzingis (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Porzingis will miss a third straight game for the Celtics due to an illness. The veteran big man is one of a few notable players that won't play for Boston on Wednesday, as Jayson Tatum (shoulder) and Jrue Holiday (finger) will also sit out this game against Portland. Al Horford and Luke Kornet will likely get more minutes due to Porzingis' absence.

  • Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Ruled out for Wednesday

Holmes (knee) will not play Wednesday against the Jazz.

Holmes was originally deemed questionable, so he could be back in the mix for Saturday's game against the Raptors. Alex Sarr could offer a higher floor in fantasy with Holmes sidelined, and Tristan Vukcevic could be more involved off the bench.

  • Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Doubtful for Thursday

Vucevic (calf) has been listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Magic.

Vucevic is trending toward missing a sixth straight game for the Bulls while nursing a strained left calf. With the veteran big man probably missing this game in Orlando, Chicago will likely continue to lean on Zach Collins and Jalen Smith to shoulder the load in the frontcourt.

  • Kai Jones C | DAL

Mavericks' Kai Jones: Uncertain to play Wednesday

Jones is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bucks due to a left quadricep strain, Kevin Gray Jr. of AllDLLS.com reports.

Jones is coming off an impressive team debut in a loss to the Kings on Monday, when he finished with 21 points, eight rebounds and one block. If Jones can't play Wednesday, the Mavericks will be shorthanded in the frontcourt once again, as the team will be left with Dwight Powell, Kessler Edwards and Olivier-Maxence Prosper as its primary big men.

  • Chet Holmgren PF | OKC

Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Out against Memphis

Holmgren will not play Wednesday against the Grizzlies with a right lower leg contusion.

A contusion is generally a day-to-day issue, but it's not a surprise to see the Thunder exercise caution. For now, Holmgren can be considered questionable for Friday's game versus the Trail Blazers. Isaiah Hartenstein is likely to start Wednesday and could offer a bit more upside than usual in fantasy.

  • Rudy Gobert C | MIN

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Out again Wednesday

Gobert (back) will not play Wednesday against Charlotte.

Gobert will miss his eighth consecutive game and remains without a timetable for a return. His next chance to play comes Friday against Miami, but at this point, he should be considered questionable at best.
