  • Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Nabs double-double in victory

Clingan finished with 13 points (6-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 13 rebounds, three blocks, two assists and one steal in 29 minutes during Monday's 119-102 victory over the 76ers.

Clingan led the Trail Blazers with a team-high 13 rebounds en route to his fourth double-double of the season. Moreover, the 21-year-old racked up a game-high three swats in the win. The rookie big man has started in eight consecutive contests due to Deandre Ayton (calf) being sidelined. In that eight-game span, Clingan has reached the double-digit mark in points and rebounds three times each. Additionally, he has recorded multiple blocks in five of those eight starts.

  • Jazz's Kyle Filipowski: Back in bench role

Filipowski will come off the bench Monday night against the Pistons.

Filipowski flirted with a triple-double in a spot start Sunday against the Pelicans, but he'll return to a bench role following the return of Walker Kessler (rest). Filipowski is averaging 12.0 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists in his last five appearances, three off the bench.

  • Kings' Jonas Valanciunas: Starting vs. Dallas

Valanciunas is starting Monday's game against the Mavericks, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.

Valanciunas will enter the starting lineup at center due to the absence of Domantas Sabonis (hamstring), who will remain out for at least one week. Valanciunas should be the top candidate to eat up minutes at center until Sabonis is cleared to return.

  • Mavericks' Dwight Powell: Starting Monday

Powell will start in Monday's game against Sacramento, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.

Moses Brown will retreat to the bench in favor of Powell, who has operated off the bench in each of the club's last three outings. In that three-game span, the big man had averaged 3.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists across 14.7 minutes per contest. Powell missed 16 consecutive outings due to a right hip strain before appearing in those three outings, and he'll likely continue to operate under a minutes restriction.

  • Jock Landale C | ATL

Rockets' Jock Landale: Drawing first start of season

Landale is starting Monday's game against the Thunder, Lachard Binkley of SI.com reports.

Landale is in line for his first start of the 2024-25 campaign while Alperen Sengun sits with a back injury. Landale is averaging only 10.5 minutes through 30 games with the Rockets this year but should be in line for a significant uptick in playing time Monday.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Available against Thunder

Adams (ankle) is available for Monday's game against the Thunder.

Adams will shake off a questionable designation due to ankle soreness Monday. With Alperen Sengun out with a back injury against Oklahoma City, Adams should share the minutes in the middle with Jock Landale.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Sitting out Monday

Sengun (back) won't play Monday against the Thunder.

Sengun was added to the injury report with a back injury, and the issue is serious enough to sideline him for Monday's clash. Jock Landale will draw the start at center in Sengun's place and should be in line for a healthy workload.

  • John Collins PF | LAC

Jazz's John Collins: Not playing Monday vs. Detroit

Collins (back) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Pistons.

Collins will be sidelined for the fourth time in five games due to lower back injury management, and how he responds to the injury over the next couple of days will determine whether he'll be given the green light to play against the Wizards on Wednesday. KJ Martin and Brice Sensabaugh are candidates to enter the Jazz's starting lineup for Monday's game due to Collins' absence.

  • Kai Jones C | DAL

Mavericks' Kai Jones: Not on injury report Monday

Jones (not injury related) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Monday's game against the Kings.

Jones will be available to make his Mavericks debut after signing a two-way deal with the club. The high-flying big man started the season under a two-way pact with the Clippers, averaging 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds across 7.4 minutes per game in 28 regular-season appearances before having been waived. With injuries piling up in the club's frontcourt of late, Jones could step into the rotation right away.

  • Rudy Gobert C | MIN

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Remains out for Tuesday

Gobert (back) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against Philadelphia.

Gobert will miss his eighth consecutive contest due to a back injury. His next chance to play will come in the second half of the club's back-to-back set on Wednesday against the Hornets. Naz Reid and Luka Garza will likely continue to shoulder the workload at the center position.
