  • Knicks' Mitchell Robinson: Making 2024-25 debut Friday

Robinson (ankle) is available for Friday's game against the Grizzlies, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Robinson has fully recovered from an offseason procedure on his left ankle, and he is set to make his 2024-25 regular-season debut Friday. His return gives the Knicks' frontcourt a needed boost as Ariel Hukporti is set to miss at least four weeks due to a torn meniscus in his knee. Robinson appeared in 31 regular-season games (including 21 starts) during the 2023-24 campaign and averaged 5.6 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks over 24.8 minutes per game.

  • Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Not playing Friday

Vucevic (calf) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Toronto, Cody Westerlund of 670TheScore.com reports.

Vucevic is set to miss a third straight game due to a right calf strain. He's been listed as doubtful for the Bulls' last two games, and it's unclear whether he's progressed enough in his recovery to have a better chance at returning Sunday against the Pacers. The good news for Chicago is that Jalen Smith has cleared the league's concussion protocol and will return Friday. Smith and Zach Collins should see plenty of playing time at the five due to Vucevic's absence.

  • Bam Adebayo PF | MIA

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Good to go Friday

Adebayo (calf) is available for Friday's game against Indiana, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Adebayo will shake off his questionable tag due to a right calf contusion and suit up for his fifth consecutive appearance Friday. Over his last 10 outings, the star big man has averaged 21.5 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists across 35.7 minutes per contest.

  • Chet Holmgren PF | OKC

Thunder's Chet Holmgren: Green light to play Friday

Holmgren (calf) is available for Friday's game against the Hawks, Nick Gallo of the Thunder's official site reports.

Holmgren popped up on the injury report due to a right calf contusion, but it doesn't appear to be severe enough for him to be sidelined Friday. He has averaged 14.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 3.3 blocks and 1.2 steals over 27.5 minutes per game in his six outings since returning from a right hip fracture.

  • Luke Kornet C | SA

    Celtics' Luke Kornet: Returning Friday

Kornet (personal) is available for Friday's game against the Cavaliers, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Kornet missed the Celtics' last two games while attending to a personal matter, but the veteran center will suit up for Friday's clash against the top team in the Eastern Conference. Kornet could slide into the Celtics' starting lineup due to Kristaps Porzingis being ruled out with an illness.

  • Spurs' Charles Bassey: Will not play Saturday

Bassey (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's matchup with the Grizzlies.

Bassey will miss his third consecutive game and 25th overall this season due to injury. With Victor Wembanyama (shoulder) out for the season, San Antonio will look to Bismack Biyombo and Sandro Mamukelashvili as the team's primary big men.

  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Iffy for Saturday

Sarr (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Hornets.

Sarr is in jeopardy of missing his third consecutive contest due to a lingering left ankle sprain. The rookie big man has missed 11 of the club's last 13 outings due to the ankle injury, with his two appearances coming directly before and after the All-Star break. If Sarr is sidelined once again, Richaun Holmes should draw another start.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Downgraded to out

Porzingis (illness) is officially ruled out for Friday's matchup with the Cavaliers, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Porzingis was able to suit up Wednesday against Detroit but will miss Friday's game due to his illness. If Luke Kornet (personal) is able to play, he and Al Horford will likely garner more playing time in Porzingis' absence.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Hornets' Jusuf Nurkic: Questionable for Saturday

Nurkic (illness) is questionable for Saturday's matchup against Washington.

Nurkic is in jeopardy of missing a second consecutive contest due to an illness. Since joining the Hornets, the big man has averaged 8.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks in 19.2 minutes per game over five appearances (three starts). If Nurkic is ruled out, Moussa Diabate will likely see an uptick in playing time.

  • Jaxson Hayes C | LAL

    Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: Questionable Friday

Hayes (hip) has been listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Clippers, Daniel Starkand of LakersNation.com reports.

Hayes suffered a left hip contusion during Thursday's win against the Timberwolves and now might be unable to play in the second game of a back-to-back Friday against the Clippers. The center has played well in his new role as a starter for the Lakers, but in the event he's ruled out, the team will likely pivot to Alex Len and Trey Jemison to shoulder the load in the paint, especially with Rui Hachimura (knee) not playing in this game.
