  • Spurs' Bismack Biyombo: Starting in season debut

Biyombo is starting Thursday's game against the Suns, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

Biyombo put pen to paper on a 10-day deal with the Spurs on Feb. 8, and he'll get an opportunity to show what he can do Thursday after it was reported earlier in the day that Victor Wembanyama would be shut down for the rest of the year due to deep vein thrombosis in his right shoulder. Biyombo could certainly earn consistent playing time with a strong outing versus Phoenix, though Sandro Mamukelashvili and Jeremy Sochan could also get looks at center going forward.

  • Bol Bol C | PHO

Suns' Bol Bol: Returning to bench role

Bol is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Spurs.

After starting in the previous two contests, Bol will return to the bench due to the return of Devin Booker (back) to the starting lineup. The big man has experienced a sizable spike in his minutes of late, averaging 30.0 minutes over his previous four contests and putting up 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game in that stretch.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Hornets' Jusuf Nurkic: Starting sans Williams

Nurkic will enter the starting lineup in Thursday's game against Denver.

The big man will receive the starting nod with Mark Williams (conditioning) sitting out during the second night of a back-to-back set. Nurkic has accumulated nine points, 16 rebounds, eight assists, three blocks and two steals across 34 total minutes in two outings (one start) with the Hornets.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Green light to play Thursday

Williams (knee) is available for Thursday's game against the Lakers, Sean Highkin of Rip City Radio 620 Portland reports.

The veteran big man will fight off knee soreness and suit up for the Trail Blazers on Thursday. Williams should serve as starter Donovan Clingan's top backup at center. Over his last eight games (two starts), Williams averaged 4.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.9 blocks and 1.0 assists in 18.0 minutes.

  • Cody Zeller C | HOU

Rockets' Cody Zeller: Remains out for Friday

Zeller (not with team) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Timberwolves.

Zeller has yet to suit up for the Hawks or Rockets this season, and there is no clear timetable for his return to game action. It seems unlikely that the veteran big man will join Houston anytime soon, though his next chance to play will come Saturday against the Jazz.

  • Drew Eubanks C | SAC

Clippers' Drew Eubanks: Off injury report Thursday

Eubanks (ankle) is off the injury report for Thursday's game against the Bucks.

Eubanks will snap a two-game absence streak Thursday due to a left ankle sprain. The big man has appeared in three outings with his new club, during which he has averaged 3.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 8.7 minutes per contest.

  • Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Not starting Thursday

Bryant won't start in Thursday's game against Memphis, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Myles Turner will return to the starting five Thursday, pushing Bryant back to the bench. The big man started in three of the club's last six outings, and in that six-game span, Bryant averaged 11.0 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists across 25.2 minutes per contest.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Celtics' Al Horford: Moves to second unit

Horford will come off the bench in Thursday's game against the 76ers.

With Jaylen Brown (knee) available Thursday, Horford moves to Boston's second unit. The veteran big man has averaged 5.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.9 blocks in 22.3 minutes through 14 games off the bench this season.

  • Yves Missi C | NO

Pelicans' Yves Missi: Questionable for Friday

Missi (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Mavericks.

Although he left New Orleans' final game prior to the All-Star break with a hyperextended knee, Missi has a chance to suit up Friday. Even with Zion Williamson (rest) off the injury report, Karlo Matkovic and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl could see an uptick in minutes if Missi is unavailable against Dallas.

  • Magic's Wendell Carter: Back in starting lineup

Carter is in the starting lineup in Thursday's game against the Hawks.

It'll be Carter's first start since Jan. 25, forcing Goga Bitadze to head to the bench Thursday. Over 26 games with Orlando's first unit in 2024-25, Carter has averaged 8.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.9 steals in 27.4 minutes, so he should have some heightened fantasy value against Atlanta.
