Alex Sarr C | WAS
Wizards' Alex Sarr: Ruled out for Friday
Sarr (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Cavaliers.
Sarr has missed the last five games for the Wizards while nursing a sprained left ankle. With the rookie big man still on the mend, Washington could turn to Kyshawn George and Richaun Holmes to help shoulder the load in the frontcourt, especially with Jonas Valanciunas and Kyle Kuzma being traded ahead of Thursday's NBA trade deadline. Alex Len and Tristan Vukcevic may also see a bump in minutes Friday.

Alex Len C | NY
Wizards' Alex Len: Landing with Washington
The Wizards are acquiring Len from the Kings as part of the three-team trade centered around Marcus Smart, NBA reporter Marc Stein reports.
With the Wizards also dealing Jonas Valanciunas and Marvin Bagley ahead of Thursday's deadline, Len is set to compete with Richaun Holmes and Tristan Vukcevic for backup center minutes behind rookie Alex Sarr (ankle). However, Len played just 7.2 minutes per game over 36 appearances (three starts) with Sacramento this season, so his addition is unlikely to cause major waves in Washington's rotation.

Clint Capela C | HOU
Hawks' Clint Capela: Out for personal reasons
Capela (personal) is out for Friday's game against the Bucks, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
After missing five straight games due to a back injury, Capela is now being listed as out for Friday due to personal reasons. The veteran big man will aim to rejoin the team on the second leg of Atlanta's back-to-back, which comes Saturday in Washington. Onyeka Okongwu should continue delivering enhanced fantasy value from the Hawks' starting lineup, as he's averaging 15.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks in 29.1 minutes over six games where Capela has been unavailable this season.

Trayce Jackson-Davis C | TOR
Warriors' Trayce Jackson-Davis: Expected to play Thursday
Jackson-Davis (knee) is listed as probable for Thursday's game versus the Lakers.
Jackson-Davis is expected to return to action Thursday after missing Golden State's previous contest due to right knee soreness. However, Jackson-Davis lost his starting spot to Quinten Post when he was available.

Jakob Poeltl C | TOR
Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Another absence coming
Poeltl (hip) will not play Friday against the Thunder, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Poeltl will miss his second game in a row Friday, and it's not a great sign that he's getting ruled out a day in advance. The Raptors traded away Kelly Olynyk, so they could rely heavily on Chris Boucher and Orlando Robinson in the meantime. Poeltl's next chance to play comes Sunday against Houston.

Jonas Valanciunas C | DEN
Kings' Jonas Valanciunas: Available to play
Valanciunas (recently traded) is available for Thursday's game against Portland, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.
The Kings acquired Valanciunas from the Wizards on Wednesday, and the trade has been finalized with the NBA. He'll likely operate as the backup center behind Domantas Sabonis, so it will be hard for him to produce reliable fantasy value outside of deeper formats.

Marvin Bagley III C | DAL
Grizzlies' Marvin Bagley: Traded to Memphis
The Wizards traded Bagley (knee) to the Grizzlies on Thursday as part of the Marcus Smart trade, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
Bagley is currently sidelined by a right knee sprain and has missed 21 straight games. He hasn't been given an official timetable, but the Grizzlies should provide some clarity once he joins his new team. Once healthy, there's no guarantee that Bagley is able to crack the rotation in Memphis.

James Wiseman C | IND
Raptors' James Wiseman: Shipped to Toronto
The Pacers traded Wiseman (Achilles) and cash to the Raptors on Thursday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
Wiseman has already been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a torn Achilles, but he could be ready for the start of the 2025-26 season. It's unclear if Toronto will keep him around, as he has a $2.55 million team option for next season. Wiseman holds career averages of 9.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 18.9 minutes across 148 appearances.
-
Cody Zeller C | HOU
Rockets' Cody Zeller: Shipped to Houston
The Rockets acquired Zeller (personal) and a 2028 second-round pick from the Hawks on Thursday in exchange for the rights to forward Alpha Kaba, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Zeller didn't report to the Hawks all season since being acquired by Atlanta in July as a part of the sign-and-trade deal that sent Dejounte Murray to New Orleans. The Hawks have now dumped Zeller's salary to Houston to avoid the luxury tax. The veteran big man is unlikely to receive significant playing time for the Rockets, as he'll find himself behind Alperen Sengun, Steven Adams and Jock Landale on the depth chart at center.

Anthony Davis C | WAS
Mavericks' Anthony Davis: Out Thursday, should play Saturday
Davis (abdomen) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Celtics and is targeting Saturday's game against the Rockets for his team debut, NBA reporter Marc Stein.
Davis was spotted going through a workout at the team's morning shootaround and had been listed as questionable, but the Mavericks will take a cautious approach with the star big man and push back his debut. He hadn't played since Jan. 28 before the Lakers traded him to the Mavericks on Sunday. Once he receives the green light to play, Davis will likely slot in as the Mavericks' starting power forward alongside center Daniel Gafford.
