  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Not playing Wednesday

Sarr (ankle) is now listed as out for Wednesday's game against the Nets.

Sarr was initially ruled out for the contest, then was upgraded to available on the 6:30 ET injury report before ultimately being ruled out again on the 7:30 ET report. Richaun Holmes and Tristan Vukcevic should handle most of the center minutes Wednesday. Sarr's next chance to play will come Friday against Cleveland.

  • Wizards' Richaun Holmes: Starting Wednesday

Holmes is part of the Wizards' starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Brooklyn.

Holmes will get the first crack at replacing Jonas Valanciunas (recently traded) in the starting lineup after Valanciunas was dealt to Sacramento earlier Wednesday. It'll be Holmes' first start of the season.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Available vs. Washington

Sharpe (hamstring) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's game against the Wizards, Erik Slater of ClutchPoints.com reports.

After filling up the stat sheet defensively in Tuesday's win against the Rockets, finishing with three blocks and two steals, Sharpe will play in the second game of a back-to-back Wednesday against Washington. The 23-year-old big man is averaging a career-high 7.9 points per game this season to go along with 6.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest while shooting 50 percent from the field for Brooklyn.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Doubtful with ankle soreness

Adams (ankle) is doubtful for Thursday's game against the Timberwolves, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Adams is unlikely to play Thursday due to left ankle soreness, an issue the veteran big man has managed lately. The Rockets should lean heavily on Alperen Sengun from the starting lineup if Adams is ruled out ahead of Thursday's action, and Jock Landale should take over as the top backup big man off Houston's bench against Minnesota.

  • Grizzlies' Brandon Clarke: Will play vs. Toronto

Clarke (back) will play in Wednesday's game against the Raptors.

After missing Monday's win against the Spurs, Clarke will return to the floor Wednesday on the road in Toronto. The veteran big man is averaging a career-low 7.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game, shooting 61.5 percent from the floor.

  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Now listed as available Wednesday

Sarr (ankle) has been upgraded to available for Wednesday's game against the Nets.

Sarr hasn't played since spraining his ankle Jan. 27 against the Pistons, and he was initially listed as out for Wednesday's game, which would've marked a fifth straight absence. However, the rookie has been surprisingly upgraded to available after Washington traded Jonas Valanciunas to the Kings on Wednesday afternoon. Sarr will likely face restrictions, so Richaun Holmes may still see a sizable role off the bench.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Available against Memphis

Boucher (illness) is available for Wednesday's game against Memphis, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

After being listed as questionable with an illness, Boucher is good to go following a one-game absence Tuesday against the Knicks. The veteran big man could be primed for an amplified role Wednesday, with Jakob Poeltl (hip) sitting on the sidelines. Over his last five outings, Boucher has averaged 13.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.4 steals and 2.4 threes in 17.8 minutes.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Ruled out against Miami

Drummond (toe) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Heat, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports.

Drummond will miss an eighth straight game Wednesday for the 76ers as he continues to deal with a toe injury on his left foot. Up-and-comer Guerschon Yabusele will likely continue to see an increased workload with the veteran big man still on the mend.

  • Brook Lopez C | LAC

Bucks' Brook Lopez: Available vs. Charlotte

Lopez (back) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's game against the Hornets.

Lopez missed Monday's loss to the Thunder with a back issue but will return to the floor Wednesday for the Bucks to take on the Hornets in Charlotte. The veteran big man is averaging 12.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.0 blocks per game for Milwaukee, shooting 47.5 percent from the floor and 36.5 percent from deep.

  • Kings' Jonas Valanciunas: Traded to Sacramento

The Wizards traded Valanciunas on Wednesday to the Kings in exchange for Sidy Cissoko and two second-round picks, NBA reporter Marc Stein reports.

Valanciunas has seemingly been on the trading block since he became eligible to be moved this season after signing with the Wizards in free agency this past summer. The veteran big man has been in countless trade rumors but was finally dealt to the Kings, who have been very active on the trade market, recently acquiring Zach LaVine in a deal involving De'Aaron Fox being shipped to the Spurs. The veteran big man will get Sacramento some depth in the frontcourt, making up an intimidating frontline with Domantas Sabonis.
