  • Hawks' Onyeka Okongwu: Double-double as starter

Okongwu posted 19 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 12 boards, four assists, two steals and a block in 30 minutes of action during Thursday's 122-119 loss to the Raptors.

The fifth-year big man logged his 10th double-double of the season in the narrow defeat. He's now averaging 14.0 points, 10.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 64.0 percent from the field in three games as a starter this season. Although he had earned the starting job from Clint Capela (knee) prior to the latter's injury, Okongwu's volume and, with it, fantasy value, is benefitting nonetheless. Capela is currently considered day-to-day, but even when he comes back, Okongwu can be expected to retain the starting job barring any sudden dips in production.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Stuffs stat sheet in win

Poeltl put up 17 points (7-10 FG, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks in 28 minutes during Thursday's 122-119 win over the Hawks.

Despite seeing somewhat limited action while splitting minutes with Kelly Olynyk and Chris Boucher, the big man made the most of his time on court as a force to be reckoned with down low all night. He contributed in every aspect of the game, even dishing his third-highest assist mark of the season and matching his second-highest steals total while he was at it. He could see more run in upcoming games since Olynyk was injured and is now day-to-day. Either way, his efficient scoring and tenacious rebounding continue to make him a valuable fantasy option going forward.

  • Yves Missi C | NO

Pelicans' Yves Missi: Upgraded to available

Missi (illness) has been upgraded to available for Friday's game against the Grizzlies.

After missing the last two games, Missi will return to the floor for the Pelicans for Friday's game on the road in Memphis. The rookie big man has played well in his first season with New Orleans, averaging 9.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 blocks per game, shooting 56.3 percent from the field.

  • Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Likely to return against Charlotte

Clingan (ankle) is listed as probable for Friday's game versus the Hornets.

Clingan is expected to return to action Friday after missing Portland's previous five contests due to a left ankle sprain. With Deandre Ayton (knee) and Robert Williams (hand) both out, Clingan should draw the start at center if he's upgraded to available against Charlotte.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Won't go Friday

Williams has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Hornets due to right hand soreness.

Williams will miss the second leg of the club's back-to-back set with the hand issue, and his next chance to play will come Sunday against the Thunder. With the big man joining Deandre Ayton (knee) on the shelf, Donovan Clingan (ankle) and Jabari Walker could see increased roles.

  • Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton: Sidelined Friday

Ayton (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Hornets.

Ayton will miss his second consecutive contest due to the left knee sprain, and his next chance to suit up will come Sunday against Oklahoma City. With the big man joining Robert Williams (hand) on the shelf, Donovan Clingan (ankle) and Jabari Walker could see increased roles.

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Excellent two-way display

Davis accumulated 24 points (9-18 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal across 31 minutes during Thursday's 117-96 win over the Celtics.

Davis was excellent on both ends of the court. Even though his nine-game double-double streak ended, he filled the stat sheet enough to make a huge impact across the board. Since the beginning of January, Davis has averaged 23.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 3.0 blocks and 1.3 steals per game. He continues to deliver outstanding value while rarely missing games, which has been an issue for him throughout his career.

  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Scores 22 points in return

Porzingis contributed 22 points (9-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one block in 27 minutes during Thursday's 117-96 loss to the Lakers.

Porzingis missed the 117-113 overtime win over the Clippers on Wednesday due to an illness, and he led Boston in scoring in this blowout loss. The big man has scored at least 20 points in three of his last seven outings, but perhaps even more impressive is the fact that he's notched at least 18 points in each of his past eight appearances. Despite playing a secondary role on offense behind the star duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, Porzingis is making the most of his role and touches every time he steps on the hardwood. He should remain a solid fantasy contributor across all formats whenever he steps on the hardwood.

  • Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Stuffs stat sheet Thursday

Vucevic totaled nine points (4-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six rebounds, four assists and four steals over 30 minutes during Thursday's 131-106 loss to the Warriors.

Vucevic didn't have his best scoring performance, and he tied his season-low scoring output in this defeat. However, he still provided value due to his contributions in other areas, as he finished with at least four tallies in four of the five major categories. That said, Vucevic's most significant impact comes from his offensive game, so he won't carry a lot of upside if his scoring numbers remain subpar, as he's scored 17 or fewer points in four of his last five appearances.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Sniffs triple-double in defeat

Sabonis supplied 23 points (10-21 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 19 rebounds and eight assists over 39 minutes during Thursday's 132-123 loss to Denver.

The big man nearly secured his sixth triple-double of the 2024-25 campaign, finishing as the club's second-leading scorer behind DeMar DeRozan (24 points). Sabonis has logged 21 straight games with double-digit points and boards and continues to stuff the stat sheet efficiently. Over 11 outings in January, the star center has averaged 21.5 points, 16.7 rebounds and 6.6 assists while shooting 62.0 percent from the floor in 37.8 minutes per contest.
