Nick Richards C | CHI
Suns' Nick Richards: Coming off bench in debut
Richards isn't in the starting five for Saturday's game versus the Pistons.
Richards will come off the bench in his Phoenix debut as the backup center to Mason Plumlee. However, it wouldn't be surprising for Richards to fight for a starting job moving forward as he acclimates to his new team.

Orlando Robinson C | ORL
Raptors' Orlando Robinson: Gets 10-day deal with Toronto
Robinson agreed to a 10-day contract with the Raptors on Saturday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
After being waived by the Kings on Jan. 7, Robinson was quickly able to find a new home with the Raptors, albeit on a short-term deal. In nine games with the Kings, the 24-year-old center averaged 2.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 6.3 minutes per game.

Deandre Ayton C | LAL
Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton: Late addition to injury report
Ayton is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Rockets due to low back soreness.
Ayton hadn't appeared on the injury report all day but is now in danger of missing Saturday's contest due to a back issue. If Ayton is ultimately ruled out, Robert Williams and Duop Reath are candidates to receive increased playing time.

Al Horford C | GS
Celtics' Al Horford: Deemed questionable for Saturday
Horford is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Hawks due to a left big toe sprain.
Horford has typically sat out the second leg of back-to-backs this season, so it wouldn't be surprising for him to do so again Saturday. With Kristaps Porzingis (foot) also questionable, Luke Kornet and Neemias Queta will likely receive increased playing time.

Kristaps Porzingis C | GS
Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Iffy for Saturday
Porzingis is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Hawks due to left posterior tibial tendon injury management.
Porzingis has yet to play a back-to-back this season and could sit out again Saturday. With Al Horford (toe) also questionable, Luke Kornet and Neemias Queta could receive increased playing time.

Bam Adebayo PF | MIA
Heat's Bam Adebayo: Double-double in clash with Jokic
Adebayo ended Friday's 133-113 loss to Denver with 16 points (7-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes.
it was the 21st double-double of the season for Adebayo in 39 appearances, giving the veteran center a shot at topping the career-high 42 he recorded in 2023-24. He has yet to deliver a double-double in consecutive January games, however, averaging 15.3 points, 8.8 boards, 4.3 assists and 1.7 steals through nine contests on the month.

Nikola Jokic C | DEN
Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Triple-double in Miami
Jokic totaled 24 points (9-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 12 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Friday's 133-113 win over the Heat.
After sitting out the second game of a back-to-back Wednesday due to a sore elbow, the 29-year-old center returned to the court and delivered his league-leading 17th triple-double of the season, more than double second-place LeBron James' eight. Through seven appearances in January, Jokic is averaging 28.3 points, 14.3 boards, 11.1 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.4 threes.

Victor Wembanyama C | SA
Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Monster line despite blowout loss
Wembanyama ended Friday's 140-112 loss to Memphis with 19 points (8-19 FG, 3-7 3Pt), 12 rebounds, three assists, six blocks and one steal across 31 minutes.
Wembanyama will be a reliable offensive weapon regardless of whether the Spurs lose or win games, and Friday's blowout defeat was perhaps the best example of how much of a stat-filling machine he can be in most contests. The star Frenchman has notched a double-double with at least two blocks in six of his last seven appearances, a span in which he's averaging a loaded stat line of 20.4 points, 13.9 rebounds, 4.7 blocks and 1.3 steals per game.

Naz Reid C | MIN
Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Pops for 23 off bench
Reid provided 23 points (8-11 FG, 6-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal over 25 minutes off the bench during Friday's 116-99 victory over New York.
The 25-year-old center continued his solid recent form, scoring at least 12 points for the seventh straight game -- although Friday was the first time he produced 20 or more during that span. Reid is averaging 16.6 points, 6.7 boards, 3.0 threes, 1.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks in 26.4 minutes per contest during his hot streak while shooting 53.8 percent from the floor and a blistering 55.3 percent from long distance.

Nikola Vucevic C | BOS
Bulls' Nikola Vucevic: Explodes for 40 points
Vucevic notched 40 points (17-25 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists and one steal over 34 minutes during Friday's 125-123 loss to Charlotte.
Vucevic was the catalyst in a dramatic fourth-quarter rally that put the Bulls within striking distance. Still, his 19 points and four rebounds in the final stanza came up just short after he missed a three-pointer with seconds remaining. Vucevic's season-high 40 points were rarified air for the big man, as he's broken the 30-point barrier only three times this season. His rebound totals are still at an elite level, and his 10.4 per-game average places him 10th in the league overall and fourth in the Eastern Conference.
