  • Bam Adebayo PF | MIA

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Downgraded to out Monday

Adebayo (back) is out for Monday's game against the Clippers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reportss.

After being a late addition to Miami's injury report, Adebayo is out with a lower back contusion Monday, and he'll miss his first game of the season as a result. The star big man's next chance to return is Wednesday against the Lakers. Rookie first-rounder Kel'el Ware and Nikola Jovic are candidates for enhanced roles against the Clippers, and the Heat would figure to get veteran big man Kevin Love back into the rotation.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Questionable with illness

Williams (illness) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Nets.

After sitting out Saturday's loss to the Heat with an illness, Williams' status remains in danger for Tuesday. With Deandre Ayton (calf) off the injury report, rookie first-rounder Donovan Clingan should revert back to Portland's second unit and handle the backup center role for the Blazers if Williams isn't feeling well enough to play against Brooklyn.

  • Trail Blazers' Deandre Ayton: Available vs. Nets

Ayton (calf) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against Brooklyn.

Ayton sat out of Saturday's action due to left calf soreness, but he's set to return following a brief absence. He's averaging 10.2 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists over his last five appearances.

  • Nets' Nic Claxton: Added to injury report

Claxton is questionable for Tuesday's game against Portland due to right hamstring tightness, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

This appears to be a recent injury for Claxton, who hasn't missed a game since Nov. 27. It'll be worth keeping a close eye on his status as Tuesday's tipoff approaches. Day'Ron Sharpe and Jalen Wilson would be a few candidates to start at center if Claxton can't go.

  • Jay Huff C | IND

Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Good to go Monday

Huff (knee) is available for Monday's game against Houston.

Huff will suit up after having been deemed probable for Monday's contest due to left knee soreness. The big man has seen inconsistent playing time of late, and over his last five outings, he has averaged 5.6 points and 1.6 rebounds in 12.8 minutes per contest.

  • Jericho Sims C | MIL

Knicks' Jericho Sims: Late scratch Monday

Sims will not play against the Pistons on Monday due to back spasms, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.

Sims was a late addition to Monday's injury report due to back spasms, and they appear serious enough for him to miss Monday's game. His absence won't impact the Knicks' rotation that much as he was a healthy DNP in New York's last two games.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Likely to play Tuesday

Jokic (illness) is listed as probable for Tuesday's game against Dallas.

Jokic is still dealing with a lingering illness that held him out of two consecutive contests. However, the three-time MVP has appeared in each of the club's last two outings, during which he has averaged 27.0 points, 15.0 rebounds, 12.0 assists and 3.0 steals in 38.5 minutes per game. In the unlikely event that Jokic is unable to go, DeAndre Jordan and Dario Saric are candidates for increased roles.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Out Tuesday, could miss more time

Nurkic (illness) is listed as out for Tuesday's game against the Hawks.

He also missed Sunday's 120-113 win over the Hornets, with Suns head coach Mike Budenholzer telling Doug Haller of The Athletic beforehand that the veteran center is battling the flu and was considered unlikely to join the team for the start of its five-game road trip that begins Tuesday in Atlanta. Budenholzer said Nurkic could rejoin the team at some point later on in the road trip, but the 30-year-old is unlikely to be part of the Phoenix rotation unless one of Mason Plumlee or Oso Ighodaro misses time. Before sitting out Sunday's game with the ailment, Nurkic didn't play in either of the Suns' previous two games in coach's decisions.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Ruled out for Tuesday

Embiid (foot) has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup against the Thunder, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Embiid will miss his fifth consecutive contest due to a left foot sprain, and his next chance to suit up will come Wednesday against the Knicks. With the superstar big man and Andre Drummond (toe) both sidelined, Guerschon Yabusele should remain in the starting five.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Remains sidelined for Tuesday

Drummond (toe) is out for Tuesday's game against the Thunder, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Drummond will sit out for a fifth straight game Tuesday due to a left toe sprain, and his next chance to return arrives during the second leg of Philadelphia's back-to-back Wednesday against the Knicks. With Joel Embiid (foot) also ruled out against Oklahoma City, Guerschon Yabusele should continue to start at center for the 76ers and carry plenty of streaming value in fantasy leagues. Across 16 games as a starter, Yabusele is averaging 10.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.4 threes in 30.2 minutes.
