  • Celtics' Kristaps Porzingis: Takes advantage inside during win

Porzingis posted 25 points (9-18 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 118-106 victory over Denver.

Nikola Jokic's (illness) absence left the door wide open for Porzingis to dominate the paint, and he finished with his first double-double of the season. While it's surprising to note that Porzingis was without a double-double this season before Tuesday's game, the big man's attendance record hasn't helped his bottom line. He's missed a total of 23 games and is still dealing with a lingering ankle injury.

  • Wizards' Jonas Valanciunas: Solid outing in blowout loss

Valanciunas supplied 18 points (7-11 FG, 4-4 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 22 minutes during Tuesday's 135-112 loss to the Rockets.

The veteran big man finished as the club's second-leading scorer behind Corey Kispert (23 points) in the blowout loss. Valanciunas has played a muted role throughout the season with the Wizards prioritizing Alexandre Sarr's development, and Valanciunas will likely continue to hover around the 20-minute mark. The 32-year-old has reached double-digit points in three of his last five games, and during that five-game span, he has shot 60.0 percent from the floor in 21.0 minutes per contest.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Full stat line in win

Sengun posted 26 points (12-23 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists and two steals in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 135-112 win over Washington.

The 22-year-old delivered a stellar bounce-back performance scoring the rock following back-to-back 14-point outings. Sengun struggled in the first half, posting eight points and five boards while shooting only 4-for-11 from the field. However, the big man found his rhythm in the third quarter, racking up 14 points and four rebounds while shooting an efficient 7-for-11 from the field. Sengun also posted his 23rd game of the season with 10-plus points and double-digit rebounds in Tuesday's blowout win.

  • Hornets' Nick Richards: Shines off bench with double-double

Richards produced 15 points (4-6 FG, 7-8 FT), 12 rebounds and three blocks over 25 minutes during Tuesday's 115-104 win over Phoenix.

Richards made his mark off the bench in Tuesday's winning effort, leading all Hornets players in rebounds while concluding as one of three players with 15 or more points in a double-double showing. Richards, who also hauled in a team-leading trio of blocks, has recorded a double-double in five contests this season.

  • Al Horford C | GS

Celtics' Al Horford: Getting starting nod

Horford is in the starting five for Tuesday's game versus the Nuggets, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Horford will enter the starting lineup Tuesday with Derrick White (illness) out. Horford is averaging 8.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 29.1 minutes across his last 10 starting appearances.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Won't play Tuesday

Jokic (illness) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Celtics, Bennett Durando of The Denver Post reports.

Jokic attempted to go through pregame warmups while dealing with the illness, though he was seen leaving the arena and was eventually ruled out for the marquee matchup. The superstar's status is now up in the air for the second leg of the club's back-to-back set against the Clippers on Wednesday. With the three-time MVP sidelined, DeAndre Jordan and Zeke Nnaji are candidates for increased roles.

  • Maxi Kleber C | LAL

Mavericks' Maxi Kleber: Reverts to second unit Tuesday

Kleber is coming off the bench in Tuesday's game against the Lakers.

The Mavericks will opt to deploy a smaller starting lineup Tuesday after going with a big first unit against Memphis' towering frontcourt Monday. Spencer Dinwiddie will take Kleber's spot in the first unit against the Lakers. Over 20 games as a reserve in 2024-25, Kleber has averaged 3.1 rebounds, 2.5 points and 0.8 assists in 18.9 minutes, so he's not worthy of much fantasy attention.

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Set to play against Dallas

Davis (foot) is available for Tuesday's game versus the Mavericks, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.

Davis has been upgraded from probable to available yet again Tuesday despite dealing with left foot plantar fasciitis. There is no indication that the star big man will operate a minutes restriction against Dallas.

  • Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Questionable for Wednesday

Clingan (rest) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.

Wednesday is the front end of Portland's back-to-back set, so the team could opt to hold the rookie first-rounder out of action against New Orleans. The Blazers would figure to lean on Deandre Ayton from the first unit if Clingan gets the night off Wednesday, and Robert Williams would be in line to take on the backup center role in this case. Ayton has averaged 16.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.3 blocks in 31.9 minutes across six outings with Clingan out of action in 2024-25.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Downgraded to questionable Tuesday

Jokic (illness) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Celtics.

Jokic was a late addition to the injury report and has been downgraded from probable to questionable for the marquee matchup. If the superstar is sidelined, DeAndre Jordan and Zeke Nnaji are candidates for increased roles.
