  • Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Out Tuesday

Gafford (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Lakers.

As expected, Gafford will be sidelined for the second leg of a back-to-back set after head coach Jason Kidd said following Monday's 119-104 loss to the Grizzlies that Gafford is "probably going to be out some time" with a sprained left ankle. Dereck Lively is likely to see boosted minutes as the Mavericks' starting center in the short term, while Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber absorb the backup minutes that had previously fallen to Gafford.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Late addition to injury report

Jokic is listed as probable for Tuesday's game versus the Celtics due to an illness.

Despite being a late addition to the injury report Tuesday due to an illness, Jokic is still expected to suit up against Boston. The superstar big man is in the midst of the best outside shooting season of his career, converting 47.7 percent of his 4.8 three-point attempts per contest.

  • Jericho Sims C | MIL

Knicks' Jericho Sims: Crashes glass in loss

Sims had four points (2-4 FG), 10 rebounds, two assists and one block over 29 minutes during Monday's 103-94 loss to the Magic.

Sims had to shoulder the load left from Karl-Anthony Towns' absence (knee) during Monday's game against the Magic. Although he couldn't replace what Towns does offensively, Sims did crash the glass, recording double-digit rebounds for the second time this season.

  • Zach Edey C | MEM

Grizzlies' Zach Edey: Only 13 minutes in win

Edey finished with four points (2-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds and two blocks across 13 minutes during Monday's 119-104 win over Dallas.

Edey started for the Grizzlies for a second straight game but didn't see more than 13 minutes on the floor, with Jay Huff taking those minutes during Monday's win against the Mavericks. This could be a telling sign, as the coaching staff could be losing confidence in the Purdue product's ability to make an impact as a starter, especially with Huff's ability to stretch the floor with his outside shooting.

  • 76ers' Andre Drummond: Questionable for Wednesday

Drummond (toe) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

Drummond missed Monday's game against the Suns, and he was unable to practice Tuesday. The 76ers will be hopeful that Drummond can go, and he would offer more upside than usual in fantasy with Joel Embiid (foot) already ruled out. Either way, Guerschon Yabusele looks poised to have a big role Wednesday.

  • Jay Huff C | IND

Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Boost in minutes

Huff provided 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and two steals across 28 minutes during Monday's 119-104 victory over the Mavericks.

Huff is averaging 15.3 minutes per game this season off the bench. However, during Monday's win against the Mavericks, he saw an increased role, taking starter Zach Edey's spot in the second half. Huff continues to be a force from deep, going 3-for-6 from beyond the arc, where he's shooting an impressive 42.7 percent this season.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Won't play Wednesday

Embiid (foot) will not play Wednesday against the Wizards.

Embiid is battling a left foot sprain and was unable to practice Tuesday. It's not a good sign that Embiid is being ruled out 24 hours in advance, and he should be considered questionable for Friday's game against the Pelicans. Andre Drummond (toe) is questionable for Wednesday, so Guerschon Yabusele could be asked to log extended minutes in the frontcourt yet again.

  • Myles Turner C | MIL

Pacers' Myles Turner: Strong defensive performance

Turner amassed 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist, three blocks and three steals across 31 minutes during Monday's 113-99 victory over the Nets.

Turner continues to show why he can be a defensive force for the Pacers. The veteran big man may be seeing a dip in his offensive production, averaging two fewer points per game (15.1) in more time on the floor this season (31.3). However, he is still one of the elite shot blockers in the NBA, averaging 2.1 per game, fourth in the league behind Anthony Davis (2.2), Walker Kessler (2.5) and Victor Wembanyama (4.0).

  • Nets' Nic Claxton: Poor shooting in loss

Claxton recorded four points (2-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt), seven rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals over 26 minutes during Monday's 113-99 loss to the Pacers.

Claxton shot only 20 percent from the field during Monday's loss to the Pacers. The 25-year-old big man is shooting a career-low 55.3 percent from the floor this season while also seeing a drop in minutes (25.9) and points per game (9.7) during the 2024-25 campaign.

  • Orlando Robinson: Cut by Sacramento

The Kings waived Robinson on Tuesday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

The Kings will open up a spot on the 15-man roster by moving on from Robinson. The third-year center made just nine appearances for the Kings this season, averaging 2.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 6.3 minutes.
