  • John Collins PF | LAC

Jazz's John Collins: Iffy for Monday

The Jazz list Collins as questionable for Monday's game against the Cavaliers due to a left hip contusion.

Collins previously missed a Nov. 27 loss to the Nuggets due to a knee contusion, but he's started in each of the ensuing nine games while averaging 17.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.1 three-pointers, 1.0 blocks and 0.7 steals in 33.3 minutes per contest. The big man is now nursing a new health concern heading into the Jazz's three-game week, and official word on his status for Monday's contest may not arrive until closer to the 7 p.m. ET tipoff. Perhaps in anticipation of a potential Collins absence, the Jazz brought back Kyle Filipowski from his G League assignment to provide an extra body in the frontcourt. Filipowski could be a candidate to start alongside Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler if Collins is unable to play.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Double-double in Sunday's win

Sengun logged 17 points (7-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and three steals in 33 minutes during Sunday's 114-110 victory over the Raptors.

The double-double was Sengun's 19th of the season, tying him with Nikola Jokic and Ivica Zubac for sixth in the league, while Sunday's performance was only the third time this season the fourth-year center has produced multiple blocks and steals in the same game. Over the last 10 games, Sengun has averaged 19.4 points, 10.5 boards, 6.3 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.8 blocks.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Double-double against former club

Sabonis registered 17 points (8-22 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 21 rebounds, four assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Sunday's 122-95 loss to Indiana.

The 28-year-old center put together a solid revenge game against the team that traded him to Sacramento in Feb. 2022, with the 21 boards being a new season high for Sabonis. The double-double was his league-leading 26th in 28 appearances, and through 10 games in December, Sabonis is averaging 22.4 points, 14.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 0.9 threes and 0.8 steals while shooting 56.9 percent from the floor and 40.9 percent (9-for-22) from long distance.

  • Myles Turner C | MIL

Pacers' Myles Turner: Strong defensive showing in win

Turner logged 15 points (7-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals across 25 minutes during Sunday's 122-95 victory over Sacramento.

It's the third time in the last six games that Turner has delivered multiple blocks and steals. The 28-year-old center hasn't pulled down more than seven boards in any December contest, and through nine appearances this month, he's averaging 13.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.2 blocks, 2.1 threes, 2.0 assists and 0.9 steals.

  • Bol Bol C | PHO

Suns' Bol Bol: Ruled out for Monday

Bol (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Nuggets.

Bol will miss a second straight game due to a left knee contusion, and his next opportunity to play will be in a rematch against Denver on Christmas Day. Bol's absence won't make much of an impact on the Suns' rotation, as he's cracked double-digit minutes just once across seven regular-season games.

  • Jay Huff C | IND

Grizzlies' Jay Huff: Out for Monday

Huff (ankle) is out for Monday's game against the Clippers.

Huff will miss a third consecutive game due to a left ankle sprain. His next opportunity to suit up comes Thursday against the Raptors.

  • Lakers' Anthony Davis: Iffy to play Monday vs. Detroit

Davis (elbow) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Pistons, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.

Davis was able to play through a left elbow contusion in Saturday's 103-99 win over the Kings, and he finished with 10 points, 15 rebounds, five assists and three blocks over 37 minutes. If Davis is unable to play Monday, that would give Christian Koloko a chance to make his first start of the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Cody Zeller C | HOU

    Hawks' Cody Zeller: Out again

Zeller (personal) is out for Monday's game against the Timberwolves.

Zeller continues to be away from the team due to personal reasons. His next chance to suit up comes Thursday against the Bulls.

  • Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Good to go against Indiana

Sabonis (ankle) is available to play Sunday against the Pacers.

Sabonis was initially listed as questionable for Sunday's game due to a sprained left ankle, but the veteran center has been cleared to play. Over his last 10 games, Sabonis has averaged 22.8 points, 14.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists over 35.7 minutes per game.

  • Hornets' Mark Williams: Good to go against Rockets

Williams (foot) is off the injury report ahead of Monday's game against Houston.

Williams did not play Friday against the 76ers due to left foot injury management, but it appears he will be available for Monday's game. Over his last three games, Williams has averaged 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 blocks over 17.7 minutes per contest.
