  • Magic's Wendell Carter: Passive performance in loss

Carter notched eight points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal across 34 minutes before fouling out of Tuesday's 114-109 loss to Milwaukee.

Carter continues to play a passive role on the offensive end of the floor, having now scored in single digits in five straight games. Since returning from injury, Carter has been forced to play at the power forward position alongside Goga Bitadze. While Bitadze continues to play some of the best basketball of his career, Carter has been relatively disappointing.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Iffy against Golden State

Sengun is questionable for Wednesday's NBA Cup Quarterfinals game against the Warriors due to left knee soreness.

Sengun is in danger of missing his first game this season Wednesday due to left knee soreness. With Steven Adams (knee) also questionable, Jock Landale could receive increased playing time against Golden State.

  • Steven Adams C | HOU

Rockets' Steven Adams: Iffy for Wednesday

Adams (knee) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's matchup against the Warriors.

Adams is in jeopardy of missing the club's NBA Cup Quarterfinals matchup due to right knee injury recovery. The big man has appeared in five consecutive outings for the Rockets, during which he has averaged 2.8 points and 4.2 rebounds across 10.2 minutes per contest.

  • N'Faly Dante C | ATL

Rockets' N'Faly Dante: Returns from G League

The Rockets recalled Dante from the G League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Tuesday, Vanessa Richardson of Space City Home Network reports.

Earlier Tuesday, Dante played 27 minutes in Rio Grande Valley's 124-112 loss to the Austin Spurs, finishing with 16 points (8-10 FG), 13 rebounds, four blocks, two assists and two steals. The rookie big man will be available for Wednesday's game against the Warriors but probably won't factor into the rotation.

  • Cody Zeller C | HOU

Hawks' Cody Zeller: Still away from team

Zeller (personal) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Knicks, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.

Zeller has yet to suit up this season while being away from the team due to personal reasons. Until Atlanta provides a timetable for the veteran big man's return, he can be considered out indefinitely.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Remains in concussion protocol

Williams remains in concussion protocol but spent some time on the court during Tuesday's practice, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.

Williams has missed six straight games due to a concussion, and it's unclear when he'll be ready to suit up again. His next chance comes Friday against the Spurs. Donovan Clingan (knee) is expected to play in that contest, while Deandre Ayton has played at least 32 minutes in four of his last six games, so there may not be many minutes available for Williams even when he's cleared to play.

  • Mo Bamba C | UTA

Clippers' Mo Bamba: Logs full practice Tuesday

Coach Tyronn Lue said Bamba (knee) was a full participant during Tuesday's practice, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Bamba didn't play Sunday against the Rockets due to left knee injury management, but he's on track to suit up Friday in Denver. He's logged double-digit minutes in eight of his last 10 appearances, averaging 13.6 minutes per game.

  • Trail Blazers' Donovan Clingan: Considered day-to-day

Portland announced Tuesday that Clingan (knee) has been cleared for on-court workouts and will ramp up toward a return to play. Coach Chauncey Billups said he expects Clingan to play Friday against the Spurs, Aaron J. Fentress of The Oregonian reports.

Clingan has been sidelined since Nov. 23 with a left knee sprain, but he's officially considered day-to-day going forward. This means a return against the Spurs on Friday could potentially be on the table. With Robert Williams (concussion) rumored to be on the trade block, Clingan could have an expanded role in the near future.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Posts another double-double

Poeltl accumulated 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal in 33 minutes during Monday's 113-108 loss to New York.

Poeltl didn't have his best shooting performance -- according to his recent standards -- but he still provided enough offense to deliver his fourth double-double across his last five appearances. The veteran big man continues to play at a high level on both ends of the court and is averaging 15.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.1 steals per game over his last 10 appearances.

  • Kel'el Ware C | MIA

Heat's Kel'el Ware: Recalled by Miami

Miami recalled Ware from the G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce on Monday.

Ware played in Sunday's 114-112 G League loss to Grand Rapids, finishing with 20 points (9-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists, four blocks and two steals over 31 minutes. At the NBA level, however, Ware has played just 6.9 minutes per game across 10 contests.
