LeBron James PF | PHI
76ers' LeBron James: Teases triple-double vs. New York
James (rest) closed with 20 points (8-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal across 34 minutes during Friday's 98-93 win over the Knicks.
James was close to securing his first triple-double of the season, as he led the 76ers in both rebounds and assists while finishing third in points behind Tyrese Maxey's 27 and Anfernee Simons' 21. Friday was the first game of the 76ers' back-to-back set, so it wouldn't be surprising to see James operate on a minutes restriction or be held out of Saturday's road tilt against the Hornets. James is averaging 16.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.0 blocks over 33.4 minutes per game to open the regular season.

Dean Wade PF | PHI
76ers' Dean Wade: Does little in spot start
Wade finished Friday's 98-93 win over New York with two rebounds, one assist and three steals in 27 minutes.
Wade was moved into the 76ers' starting lineup Friday due to the absence of Jaylen Brown (knee), but the former barely showed up on the box score and didn't attempt a shot. Wade has taken only one shot over his last two games, and his lack of shooting gives him little fantasy value even in the deepest of leagues. He would likely revert to a bench role if Brown is cleared to play against the Hornets on Saturday.

Pelle Larsson SF | MIA
Heat's Pelle Larsson: Efficient scoring night Friday
Larsson produced 18 points (5-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT), three rebounds and three assists over 24 minutes off the bench during Friday's 145-125 victory over Indiana.
The third-year wing scored at last 12 points in a fourth straight game, as Larsson solidifies his spot as one of the key members of the Heat's second unit. During that four-game surge, Larsson's averaging 15.5 points, 4.8 assists, 4.0 boards, 1.3 steals and 1.3 threes in 31.3 minutes while shooting 59.4 percent from the floor.

Davion Mitchell PG | MIA
Heat's Davion Mitchell: Double-double in rout of Pacers
Mitchell closed Friday's 145-125 win over Indiana with 15 points (6-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt), six rebounds, 11 assists and one steal in 35 minutes.
The double-double was the fourth in six games for Mitchell, and the 28-year-old point guard has also recorded at least one steal in four straight contests. He's thriving as the facilitator for Giannis Antetokounmpo, averaging 16.2 points, 8.2 assists, 2.0 threes, 1.7 boards and 1.2 steals in 34.2 minutes to begin what's shaping up to be a career-best campaign.

Klay Thompson SG | MIA
Heat's Klay Thompson: Lights it up from long range
Thompson supplied 25 points (9-14 FG, 7-12 3Pt) and three assists across 26 minutes during Friday's 145-125 win over the Pacers.
The 36-year-old turned back the clock to his peak Splash Brothers days in Golden State, with the seven made threes equaling his total from the prior three games combined. Thompson's 25 points were also a season high, but he's only reached double digits in three of six contests so far in 2026-27 as he adjusts to his new role with Miami. Thompson's averaging 10.7 points, 3.2 treys, 1.3 boards and 1.3 assists in 21.0 minutes to begin his tenure with the Heat.
-
Bam Adebayo C | MIA
Heat's Bam Adebayo: Strikes for 27 in Friday's rout
Adebayo recorded 27 points (11-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and three steals over 33 minutes during Friday's 145-125 win over Indiana.
The 27 points were a season high for Adebayo, and for the second straight game he fell one board shy of his first double-double of 2026-27. The veteran center is beginning to find a groove alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo, hitting for at least 20 points in three of the last four games while averaging 19.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 0.8 blocks while shooting 50.9 percent from the floor.

Larry Nance Jr. PF | IND
Pacers' Larry Nance: Makes impact on defense Friday
Nance produced six points (2-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist, one block and four steals in 18 minutes off the bench during Friday's 145-125 loss to Miami.
The journeyman big has seen a bigger role with Ivica Zubac (ankle) on the shelf, and over four games since the Pacers' starting center got injured, Nance has averaged 20.5 minutes while contributing 4.8 points, 4.0 boards, 1.8 steals, 1.0 threes, 0.8 assists and 0.5 blocks. With Obi Toppin (back) out Friday as well, Nance could see his usage increase even more, but he hasn't averaged 20-plus minutes over a full season since 2022-23 with the Pelicans.
-
Quenton Jackson SG | IND
Pacers' Quenton Jackson: Leading scorer from second unit Friday
Jackson contributed 24 points (9-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two steals in 24 minutes off the bench during Friday's 145-125 loss to Miami.
The 24 points led the Pacers on the night, and the performance fell one point shy of the career high he set Nov. 1, 2025 against the Warriors. Jackson came into the night having scored just 25 total points in his first five games of the season, but with Indiana's backcourt shredded by injuries to Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring), T.J. McConnell (hamstring) and others, Jackson should continue seeing an elevated role in the short term. On the season, the fifth-year guard is averaging 8.2 points, 2.8 assists, 2.3 boards and 1.2 steals in 19.3 minutes.

Zaccharie Risacher SF | DAL
Mavericks' Zaccharie Risacher: Strong showing off bench Friday
Risacher recorded 12 points (4-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals across 28 minutes off the bench during Friday's 116-111 win over the Rockets.
It's beginning to look like the Hawks may have given up on Risacher a bit too quickly. While the 21-year-old wing may never live up to his billing as the first overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, he's providing the Mavs with valuable depth so far, particularly on defense. Over the last five games (one start), Risacher is averaging 10.6 points, 6.0 boards, 2.0 blocks, 1.6 assists, 1.6 threes and 1.4 steals in 30.2 minutes.

Daniel Gafford C | DAL
Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Drops 18 in Friday's win
Gafford amassed 18 points (6-7 FG, 6-9 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 29 minutes during Friday's 116-111 victory over the Rockets.
The 18 points were a season high for Gafford, who continues to operate without much backup in the paint as Dereck Lively (foot) and Santi Aldama (knee) remain sidelined. Gafford has recorded exactly blocks in six straight games to begin the season, averaging 8.5 points, 7.0 boards, 2.5 assists, 2.0 blocks and 0.8 steals in 23.3 minutes while shooting 70.0 percent from the floor.
