  • Julian Reese PF | WAS

    Wizards' Julian Reese: Inactive Monday

Reese (two-way) won't play in Monday's game against the Lakers.

Reese got the starting nod in Sunday's loss to Portland but will be held out of Monday's contest in an effort to preserve his eligibility while signed to a two-way pact. The big man's next chance to play will come Wednesday against Philadelphia.

  • Anthony Gill PF | WAS

Wizards' Anthony Gill: Good to go Monday

Gill (ankle) will play Monday against the Lakers.

Gill will suit up Monday after initially being added to the injury report as questionable with right ankle soreness. He's averaging 12.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 steals over his last five showings.

  • Wizards' Bilal Coulibaly: Ruled out Monday

Coulibaly (heel) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Lakers.

Coulibaly will miss Monday's contest due to a heel issue, and his next opportunity to play will come Wednesday against Philadelphia. With the 21-year-old forward sidelined, Jamir Watkins, Will Riley and Justin Champagnie are candidates to see an uptick in minutes.

  • Alex Sarr C | WAS

Wizards' Alex Sarr: Ruled out Monday

Sarr (toe) is out for Monday's game against the Lakers.

Sarr will miss a second straight game due to left big toe injury management. Tristan Vukcevic and Justin Champagnie figure to be leaned on heavily in Sarr's absence.

  • Jazz's Kennedy Chandler: Starting versus Cleveland

Chandler will start Monday's game against Cleveland.

The Jazz are down Isaiah Collier (hamstring), Keyonte George (hamstring) and Elijah Harkless (hamstring), so Chandler is needed to make the first start of his career. The 23-year-old has played well in five appearances with Utah this season, averaging 14.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 1.2 steals across 30.8 minutes per contest.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Checks in late Monday

Edwards didn't start Monday's game against the Mavericks but checked in with 10:59 remaining in the first quarter, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.

Edwards was late getting to the floor Monday but ultimately replaced Mike Conley after just over a minute of game time. Edwards is returning from a six-game absence due to a right knee issue, and while he didn't start against Dallas, he should be good to go for the rest of the contest after checking in.

  • Mike Conley PG | MIN

Timberwolves' Mike Conley: Drawing last-minute start

Conley will start Monday's game against the Mavericks, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.

Conley wasn't listed in the team's official starting lineup, but Krawcyznski notes that the veteran point guard was a last-minute addition to the first unit after Anthony Edwards was late coming down the tunnel. Edwards replaced Conley with 10:59 remaining in the first quarter after missing tipoff.

  • Keon Ellis SG | CLE

Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Starting against Jazz

Ellis will start in Monday's game versus Utah.

Cleveland is down Jarrett Allen (knee), Max Strus (foot), Dean Wade (ankle) and Jaylon Tyson (toe), so Ellis will return to the starting lineup. The 26-year-old last started in Wednesday's 120-103 loss to the Heat, finishing with 17 points, two rebounds, one assist and two steals in 37 minutes of work.

  • Cavaliers' Craig Porter: Getting green light Monday

Porter (groin) is available for Monday's game against the Jazz, Danny Cunningham of Sports Radio 92.3 The Fan Cleveland reports.

Porter will return to action following a seven-game absence due to a groin injury. He appeared in five games this month before going down with the injury, averaging 3.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 14.8 minutes per appearance during that stretch.

  • EJ Harkless SG | UTA

Jazz's Elijah Harkless: Won't play Monday

Harkless (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Cleveland, Ben Anderson of KSL News Salt Lake City reports.

After appearing in each of Utah's last 19 games following the All-Star break, Harkless will miss Monday's contest due to hamstring soreness. With the 26-year-old point guard joining Keyonte George (hamstring) and Isaiah Collier (hamstring) on the inactive list, Kennedy Chandler and Bez Mbeng are candidates for increased roles.
