Suns' Jalen Green: Limps to locker room

Green exited to the locker room in the first quarter of Wednesday's game against the Mavericks due to an apparent leg injury, Kellan Olson of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Green limped to the locker room after checking out with 8:10 remaining in the opening quarter. If he's unable to return, Collin Gillespie will likely help pick up the slack the rest of the way.

  • Hawks' Jonathan Kuminga: Provides spark off bench

Kuminga logged 24 points (11-20 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds and three assists over 30 minutes during the Hawks' 122-116 loss to the Cavaliers on Wednesday.

Kuminga gave the Hawks a much-needed scoring boost off the bench during Wednesday's game, particularly after Jalen Johnson and Dyson Daniels both fouled out during the fourth quarter. Kuminga finished as the team's second-leading scorer behind Nickeil Alexander-Walker (25 points), and it was the former's first 20-plus-point performance since March 1 against the Trail Blazers. The Hawks will need more games out of Kuminga like Wednesday's if they wish to be competitive in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Team-high 25 points in loss

Alexander-Walker logged 25 points (10-19 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two steals over 39 minutes during the Hawks' 122-116 loss to the Cavaliers on Wednesday.

Alexander-Walker and Jonathan Kuminga (24 points) took on larger scoring roles during Wednesday's contest, which helped the Hawks stay in the game late despite the shooting struggles of Jalen Johnson and CJ McCollum. Alexander-Walker is in the midst of a career year and has been even better of late. Over his last 10 games, he has averaged 24.2 points, 3.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 3.8 threes and 1.4 steals over 34.9 minutes per game while connecting on 53.6 percent of his field-goal attempts.

Cavaliers' James Harden: Shooting struggles Wednesday

Harden posted 21 points (6-23 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, four assists and two steals over 34 minutes during the Cavaliers' 122-116 win over the Hawks on Wednesday.

Harden didn't have a great shooting night during Wednesday's win, particularly from inside the arc, but he still managed to finish as the Cavaliers' third-leading scorer behind Donovan Mitchell (31 points) and Evan Mobley (22 points). Since March 1, Harden has averaged 21.2 points, 7.7 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 3.2 threes over 34.9 minutes per game,

  • Evan Mobley PF | CLE

Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Dominates glass in Wednesday's win

Mobley finished Wednesday's 122-116 win over Atlanta with 22 points (8-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 6-10 FT), 19 rebounds, three assists and three blocks over 36 minutes.

Mobley opened Wednesday's game strong offensively with 10 points in the first quarter. The fifth-year big man made more of an impact on the glass, tying a career high with 19 rebounds while also leading the Cavaliers with three blocked shots. He is up to 27 double-doubles on the year (four of which have come over his last six outings), which is 14th most in the Association. Mobley has averaged 19.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 0.9 blocks over 30.4 minutes per game over his last 10 outings.

  • Mavericks' Dwight Powell: Not starting Wednesday

Powell won't start Wednesday's game against the Suns, Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Powell got the starting nod during Tuesday's loss to the Clippers in place of the injured Daniel Gafford (shoulder), though it'll be Marvin Bagley who enters the first unit Wednesday. Powell has averaged 3.0 points and 4.5 rebounds across 17.5 minutes per tilt over his last four appearances off the bench.

  • Mavericks' Marvin Bagley: Starting Wednesday

Bagley is in the Mavericks' starting lineup against the Suns on Wednesday, Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Daniel Gafford (shoulder) is out for Wednesday's contest, so Bagley will make his 11th start of the season (and first since March 13). Bagley played 26 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's 116-103 loss to the Clippers and finished with 21 points, nine rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal.

  • Suns' Khaman Maluach: Making first career start

Maluach will start Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.

With Mark Williams (foot) sidelined, Maluach will get the starting nod for the first time in his NBA career. The rookie first-rounder has averaged 4.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 11.0 minutes per game across his last 10 appearances, though he'll likely see increased minutes Wednesday.

  • Ryan Nembhard PG | DAL

Mavericks' Ryan Nembhard: Back in starting lineup

Nembhard is in the Mavericks' starting lineup against the Suns on Wednesday, Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Nembhard did not start in each of the Mavericks' last two games after doing so in the three games prior, but he's back in the lineup for Wednesday's contest due to the absences of Naji Marshall ( hip) and P.J. Washington (elbow). Nembhard is coming off a solid performance against the Clippers on Tuesday, when he played 25 minutes and finished with 12 points, seven assists, six rebounds and two steals in a 116-103 loss.
